Really nice and powerful little light for photography. Easy to use, good lighting output

It’s always a challenge trying to make sure you have enough light and that it last longer enough. I haven’t used it for a few hours yet so I’ve yet to comment on battery life but the brightness is quite astonishing for a small unit. Love the barn doors and extras you get with it. Thankfully not all companies have “cheaped out” on their products ! Happy with this

Great light for out and about. Really bright, small lightweight even with the extra diffuser, honeycomb grid and barn doors! Hot/cold shoe mount and a 1/4… no brainer!

I already have the 60W head and a 200W head from Zhiyun and this small but powerful unit integrates with them perfectly in the app. Its simple to use with an almost silent fan cooler and offers a good range of colour options ideal as either a keylight in a pinch or as a background colour fill, all of which can be controlled via the app very simply. The unit has cold shoe mounts on 3 sides so you can attach further lights or other video equipment.My only gripe with the unit is that I think it should ship with at least the barn doors at this price, it would give better control over the light but it doesn't so I have been using mainly as a flood and using gobos to prevent the light spilling where I don't want it.It will be in my video kit bag permanently as I do find it very good as a run and gun key light for interviews or presenting to camera. You can also use the app to create scenes in conjunction with the other units so with one press of a preset you can reproduce a scenes lighting easily.It also has presets but frankly I dont bother with those, I much prefer to set everything up for each use myself.So far very impressed with this as I have been with its bigger brothers, a versatile light that has a good battery and lots of control options.

does the job I bought it for

I loved the design of this and the accessories it came with. The barn door and grid are fantastic. But the grid are so much light. The light was nearly powerful enough without the grid but with it the applications are limited.I have the fiveray m40 and although I didn’t expect this to be as powerful the m20 is about 1/4 the power of that light and actually more awkward to put in a pocket.I just wish the m40 had a grid and barn doors.

This Video Light give a great final result in my video & photograph. I need to buy few more to create a nice atmosphere ;)

This portable light is high quality.It is very bright and can be lighted in so many different colours.It is versatile to use and value for money.It is very easy to use. I am very happy with this light and I gladly recommend it to you.

Cumple lo que promete. Me gusta poder controlarlo desde la app pero eso si, no puede controlar los efectos, eso tiene que ser manual. Me agrada muchísimo la opción de música: la luz sigue el ritmo de cualquier sonido. Para filmar videos musicales y luces de relleno es excelente, incluso como luz principal para tomas donde se puede colocar no tan lejos. Me encanta

I was skeptical as I initially found this M20 in an instagram ad, but decided to give it a try as I’m doing some traveling soon and trying to make sure I can accomplish as many photo/video opportunities as possible.I have a few of the cheaper ~$30 LED cube lights already, but was drawn to this one by the magnetically attached modifiers, and the magnetism of the body itself (which hopefully means it will be easier to get around without a light stand).Making any association between this and the other cubes seemed silly as soon as I got this out of the box. The Zhiyun M20 is a decent amount bigger in every dimension, but even with the modifiers packs into a reasonable size. The light output blows the cheaper cubes away- this thing gets seriously bright. The quality seems really good overall, it has a nice heft but I wouldn’t call it heavy.I have not had it out on a shoot yet nor have I played with the app, but the on-body controls are pretty intuitive and work well. The screen makes it very easy to see what’s going on. After my trip, I’ll update this review with how it did.The only con I can think of right now is that in a few minutes of use, the fan kicked on and it wasn’t completely silent. If you are working on a very quiet set then this might be an issue for you, but I don’t think it’s going to matter for what I do.

J'aurais aimer qu'il soit un peut plus fort, mais je savais qu'il avais 20 watt. Mais dans l'ensemble je ne suis pas déçu.

I have to say I am impressed. It is quite powerful, easy to use and straight forward. Very well designed and I can feel it is a high quality product. i recommend this item
