The perfect combo!I know I wanted to get her a relief globe so she could feel the terrain. But this offers so much more. With the light off you see the physical topography without boarders and extensive labels.Turn the light on and poof, political map. Countries, cities, states marked by boarders and varying colors.Very happy with it.

This globe is exactly as described. It lights up and the display colors are very nice. My teenager has a globe collection and has decided that this is his perfect beside lamp/night light.

The globe was beautiful, but the bulb had shaken loose inside the globe. I read instructions on how to open the globe to replace light or reset light, but I could not lift the pin out of top and pull out the thingy to get to the part that was to lift off the meridian. After using pliers and breaking 2 nails off to the wick that bled, I finally gave up. I returned the globe. They did not give me a refund, but instead hgave me a gift card. I ordered another, more expensive globe with a gyromatic meridian, and the gyromatic part broke off after turning the globe a few times. I am ordering again, and I pray the next one will be a winner, because I really want a globe.

We love our globe, nice anf bright. Just my 10 year old grandson and I were able to trace the Kon Tiki's voyage... A project were working on for homework. This seller is great too. We had a little issue with the globe after first use but the seller responded quickly, provided clear directions and sent a part we needed so that it arrived in a few days. Would definitely buy again and be happy to work with this seller

I chose this for my 2 and 5 year old over one of the smaller versions with an interactive pen. I gave this to them and a 3D atlas app. They love it, and go to it often because it is lit up.

This globe is easy to read and having the light inside the globe is an added bonus. we are very pleased.
