Sturdy metal, nice appearance.However, definitely not squirrel or raccoon proof. Luckily, the birds eat too,although it took the cardinals several days to figure it out.Note: Eventually we raised the pole as high as we could, so now the raccoons can't get to it, but the squirrels still do

I really like the quality of the material it's made of. I like the quantity of birdseed it holds. Only drawback I have is if a squirrel gets on it the openings don't close. However the perches the birds rest on do drop down. I bought this for our ranch so time will tell how well it holds up.

Well made bird feeder. It is heavy-duty. However, if mounted in a manner that allows squirrels to get to the feeder, they will get on it from the top or bottom and the spring-loaded bird perch will not deter the squirrels from hanging on the feeder to access the bird food. Once I hung the feeder from an isolated tree limb with about 6 - 8' of wire cable, the squirrels were no longer able to access the feeder from the top or bottom.

The bird 🐦 feeder is very sturdy. I like how bird perches are one unit. Easy for me to refill with the wide mouth 😮

It’s sturdy and pretty but the worst bird feeder we ever had. A lot of seeds come out of the feeder whenever they eat, I had to refill it every day and makes a whole lot of mess. I should’ve returned it but I didn’t have the original box. My husband just bought another one and I’m getting rid of this one.

This bird feeder does work as advertised. It does not keep squirrels from eating from it, in fact, they love hanging upside down and empting it.
