Definitely replaces marantec 418 mhz
some reviewers say it doesn't.... It does. I have used three now. it has a better range than the original. Takes a hammering on the key fob of my motor bike. You can clone a new one from the replacement. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Beats replacing the old 318mhz garage receiver on the motor unit. my garage unit is 22 years old and is used daily these units work every time.

Didn't clone my old Marantec 418mHz
That is all I can say, it didn't do the cloning. However, I bought the Prime1 from Gateremotes and it worked very well.

Did not clone my comfort 250 remote. Very disappointed given this is written in the description
