I brought these shoes for my brother who had been severely ill and in Hospital for 6 months or so. Circulation problems associated with his illness had caused his toes to blacken and become infected so his feet were heavily bandaged. Upon discharge he was in severe pain and had difficulty in walking.The shoes were perfect for him and meant he could walk around the house and even take a few steps outside. He is 69 years old and I cannot recall him being so happy in over 50 years.... simply it changed his whole attitude after being very poorly for so long. His wife has told me that she has never seen him so happy about anything in all the years she had known him.I opted for Express delivery and had the shoes sent directly to him. He received them within 21 hours of the order being placed. Amazing !

I was supplied with a similar shoe by the hospital when I broke my foot. However, I felt I needed a spare for when the first one got wet and/or dirty. This one is not quite as rigid as the hospital one but it does the job and is modestly priced.

Following an accident had a thick bandage around ankle and foot. Was unable to get a regular shoe on. This shoe worked very well.Needed it right away, but waited days for it to arrive.

Returned, problem for which this was required cleared up, hence no longer needed.
