Dolan Designs Black Gooseneck Barn Light with 16" Shade

I would have loved this had it been in green. Also, the mounting holes in the bracket that goes to the wall are on the sides of the bracket. It would be possible to turn the bracket but the thing is asymmetrical and looked strange sideways. There is a lot of weight on this bracket, I used a sort of heavy LED bulb in the end of the fixture, and it looked like it might come down. I drilled a hole on the top to anchor it. Might not be necessary, but it is mounted high up and I didn't want to have to return to fix it. But once up, it looks great, works great, and I am very happy.

My wife wanted a light for the man door of our barn. Seeing the pics from other reviewers, this one looked like it would do just fine. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this fixture. After installation, I inserted a 90 watt bulb. Now the doorway is nicely illuminated at night and adds a touch of class to an old barn.

These were perfect! The 16" size look perfect for our 14' doors with 5' between them. The quality is there too. They feel very durable and won't sag. A 60 watt LED bulb is plenty bright too.Update 4/23:. After one year the satin black paint turned flat. After four years the paint disappeared on about a third of one.

Researched the heck out of gooseneck barn lights. This is perfect with the 16 inch shade and a perfect brown color. The 200 watt bulb throws so much light.

Beautiful lights for our garage - we wanted some barn looking lights, and these are perfect, because they are a little different than the traditional barn lights. The quality is good and they were easy to install.

These are the perfect size for a gable end of a garage. They were the perfect finishing touch to my new garage. Quality is great with plenty of wire and a nice finish.
