Takes fair amount of water, pages open flat
Holds water surprisingly well. I won't do multiple layers of wash in it, but coloring quick sketches with watercolor works pretty well. The page buckles only a tiny bit with water.The binding works well too - all pages open flat, unlike the travel-log handbook I had. This allows for sketches sized about 5x7.
