I gave this gift to my daughter and she absolutely loved it! The quality of the actual pages was great, and she loved how they used the original font and writing instead of modern fonts. The pages still had the old look to them without feeling old, which made it very nice to look at. We loved the cover that it came with since it protected the book, and the red and green embroidery was beautiful. She loves to write and Shakespeare is one of her biggest inspirations, so she was over the moon with it. Definitely recommend!

This is amazing quality as close to the original as we can get at $100 U.S. I consider this price cheap considering the high quality.This is a must have for any Bibliophiles home library collection.A submitted several photos for interested parties.p.s. The pictures doesn't do it justice.

I am beyond thrilled with this beautiful reproduction of the first folio. Reading it is like stepping back in time. I was so moved by Ben Jonson's verses to his "gentle" friend, Shakespeare. Even though I had read them before, seeing them in 1623 print made the emotion seem so recent and palpable.The book is much larger than I expected, too, giving me a real sense of the respect that Shakespeare's friends paid him by publishing it.What a treasure that the British Library has given the public! Bibliophiles and Shakespeare fans rejoice!

This was obviously a big expense, but a assure you well worth it. I have no means currently to go physically see any of Shakespeare's surviving first folios. This was an absolute joy to experience and feel like you have a bit of history right at home.

Just the same as the one for sale at the British Library. Faithful reproduction. Top quality binding and case.

The book and cover are very sturdy. The text is legible with minimal bleed-thru but the paper feels slightly thin. The color of the paper looks a little like parchment but of course it doesn't feel like it.

This was a gift for a Shakespeare expert and it was appreciated. Very large book.
