Finally the right insoles
My husband’s shoe soles were wearing out on the outside edges. Tried several insoles but none were comfortable. These are finally working for him. His shoes are super comfortable and the wear is even now.

Thinner model works out well
I can see that the reviews are all over the place, but in my opinion these are one of the best out there. I wanted to wear them for about a week before posting and now I am convinced that they do indeed help me with foot pain a lot. The key here is that it is thinner than most, so I can still wiggle my toes around and shoes aren’t so tight. I was also reluctant about the met, but that worked out as well. It helps with the pain in the balls of the feet and doesn’t feel like you have a rock in your shoe all the time. I would recommend it. You have nothing to lose.

No foot pain
We put these in my husband’s shoes when we buy new ones. He says they make his feet feel good-no pain in his feet nor in his legs when he is walking.

Their fine
They are a little firm but that’s what you get when it’s thin. Supports well in dress shoes and running shoes.

Not worth the money
Ive been a superfeet customer for years, but decided to try sole brand insoles. Having thru-hiked the continental divide trail, the appalachian trail… and many others. Not to mention walking approximately ten to fifteen miles per day on the streets etc… to try and stay in shape.. ive tried every size, shape, thickness level of insoles known to humanity. The Sole brand had something the superfeet did not have.. and that was “thickness” level. Such as thin, medium, and thick insoles. Each with more foam to supposedly provide comfort for your feet. And this was brilliant… or so i thought. Given that superfeet brand seem to be carbon fiber.. hard as a rock. However, things didn’t work out this way.The good… the Sole brand inserts, having different thicknesses, provided support in shoes which i normally would not have used supportive insoles within, such as tighter Arcteryx shoes. And.. they work better than superfeet in shoes requiring more flex such as sneakers etc.. And… if your a nurse, doctor, law enforcement officer etc.. another words a person who stands still more often than walking. Than the Sole brand with the cushioning is better. The Bad… However, is that you dont need cushioning. If you own a supposedly stiff brand such as the superfeet? They hold your foot ready, and steady. Your FOOT does not go up and down banging agains the insole. It is held firmly, like Birkenstock shoes (against the foot), not only providing support, but assuring you walk exactly the same way with each step. The sole brand insert does not provide this. Yes… it has arch support… but your foot moves and flexes around more. Which means, if you’ve got foot issues… your still going to have them with this brand. Problem two.. your feet sweet like crazy wearing these. They get wet with sweat, which absorbs into the insole making them smell, and your feet to remain ridiculously warm the entire time. Unlike the superfeet brand, which doesn’t absorb odor, or wetness… and keep your feet cooler. And you can wipe them off afterwards. You cant do this with Sole inserts. The two worse bad things about Sole brand? They push you on the “cork” versions which are supposedly better for the environment right? But heres how they are actually worse… the Cork versions? They fall apart when they get wet. Which they DO… wether you wear them in streams or rain, because your sweat absorbs into the insole. And this means, instead of the insole lasting for years like the superfeet insole , your always having to replace them. So which is really better for the environment? Also, They squeak like crazy.. I mean don’t expect to wear them to work… forget about it.. and the final bad thing? I don’t know about the rest of you… but i wear Darn tough socks and similar because i put serious miles on my feet and want the best for them. However, the Sole brand inserts wear through my socks in a single week! They rub your foot because, unlike the superfeet insoles which hold your foot consistent with each step, there is more movement of the foot. Proof of this is they blow right through wools socks like crazy. I normally get a years use out of a darn tough sock before sending them in for free lifetime replacement right? I tried an experiment the other day, and put a brand new pair of socks on my feet, put the SOLE brand insert in my shoes and walked seven miles. They wore through my socks on that seven miles. One walk!!!! I Pulled the three pairs of Sole inserts ( i have a thin, medium, and thick set of inserts; having tried each type), out of my shoes. I will never use them again. And by the way… my knees are killing me for the first time in years, because, as i said, unlike the superfeet inserts which allow me to walk perfectly the same with each step (like orthotics should), the SOLE brand inserts are like going back to using whatever junk comes in your shoe when you bought them. Just the knee problems alone, as if they are not orthotically useful at all, except for the fact that they have painful arch support (even after heating them). They are not good for me. If you bought them… good luck.

Great in dress boots size 11EEE
Hot Damn these feel fantastic! I was expecting the worst, truly I thought a 10% chance these weren’t going to get sent back...put them in and they feel great! They fit a size 11EEE Allen Edmunds boot perfect. I will add however they did not fit a size 11 (standard width) Magnanni dress shoe. Both had a bit of toe room above the foot to accommodate, the Magnanni was not able to accommodate the extra heel height this adds, my heel slipped out. Not a width issue. Now I’m not sure if this is a boot vs shoe thing, I suppose I should try another pair of dress shoes and see if this is across the board on dress shoes, or just this one instance. But for my $300 dress boots, this is exactly what I needed to make them my daily sleds.

Night & Day difference
SOLE was recommended for me to try in my cross country ski boot and not necessarily due to an issue that I have just behind my big toe on my right foot. I train in the off season on roller skis in both the skate and stride technique and after many years of training I developed a problem either due to poor technique or slanted training surfaces. When I went through the different options that SOLE offers to try I decided to get the thin ones with the Met Pad . When I opened the package I was amazed how the arch was able to maintain the form and put them into a pair of skate boots and wore them around the house for half hour before heading out for a work out. I could immediately tell how much more support it game me on my right by how well I could balance on my right foot and then maintain that balance when I rolled up onto the ball of my foot and transfer the weight over the entire width of the ball. Needless to say my skate work out went very well; usually I would experience some discomfort that I would eventually work through but they made a huge difference and the balance was just as great out there. The real test will be when I try striding in them; I will report back.

Finally! Metatarsal pads in my fave arch supports
I'm been putting heat-moldable Sole insoles in every shoe, boot and sports clear that will accept them, ever since a ski boot fitter put them in my heat-molded boot liners. Their super high arch, right out of the package is perfect for me, with no heat molding. FEELS SO GOOD! (Other brands like Super feet don't make them high enough for me.)I have some weird comfort issues that are helped by a metatarsal pad. Now, I can get both support profiles in a single insole. God Bless modern off-the-shelf orthotics. Love these and will be watching for discounts to buy more.

Great for barefooters
I really had trouble finding a good insole for my barefoot shoes. My good old soles were worn down from year of use and I'd been searching for months. This company referred me to these when inquiring about another product and helped me out finding the right insoles. Very helpful company that quickly provides information and is good to deal with. These soles are 1mm thick with zero drop and some arch support (its not too bad though so give it a chance), they are partially rigid but flexible in teh toe box and they adapt to your feet for a custom feel. Either through wearing them or through quickly heating them and wearing them. This function seems to work well. After wearing and heating them they have definitely changed shape and are much more comfortable.I was worried out of the box about how rigid they felt as I like a very free foot with full movement. These do allow free movement and do not impair your barefoot experience. The arch support is there but not aggressive like some and it molds down to your natural arch eventually. I definitely like them and recommend them for anyone looking for a quality insole for barefoot shoes. Now I hope they make one even thinner and fully flexible with less arch support for an even better barefoot experience. Time to add another sole to your collection for us barefooters to buy so we can feel like we have naked feet still.

Saved me
Do your feet, ankles, shins, knees, or hips hurt? Maybe your like me and check every single box. You have tried everything to fix form or have better posture but it is not working. Come here and take a good look at these.I always hated running because I would get shin splints straight away, but silly me wanted to run long distances. I tried everything to fix my form and that did help, but didn’t fix. Finally I broke down and bought a pair of soles. I noticed a difference straight away. My first run “breaking them in” hurt everywhere. They definitely help because I hurt in places I’ve never felt before. After that break in sess and many tears and wondering if I’ll ever run again, they started to feel amazing. Next thing I know I’m running with no pain. I recover faster wearing them in my day to day shoes. I feel fantastic even when I push it more than I should. What is happening??? It’s the soles man. They saved my sore baby legs. They’ll help you too, promise from me.Pro tip for ya, make sure you check the depth of the shoes you’re putting them in. I originally bought the medium height option and they were too thick for my running shoes so I exchanged for the low profile ones. If you want it for running, I’d go with these fine beasts. Happy trails
