We bought this a few weeks ago for our 2013 Ford Explorer XLT but just had the chance to put it in yesterday. It was extremely easy to install. The grid view between the lines is helpful when reversing. It actually gives a much large view and is much clearer than the previous camera that it replaced. The only thing that it doesn’t do that our previous camera did is make the grid squares colored as you get closer to things when you back up but I can get used to that change. I haven’t tested out the night time view yet but my fingers are crossed that it’s just as good. I’ll come back to update once I can verify that.

Easy install. Had to rotate once for correct view. I am thrilled that I have a working camera again.

My husband had to replace his backup camera and this one has great quality! Definitely worth the money if doing it ourselves instead of going to the dealership. I’d recommend this camera to anyone who needed to replace it DYI

I felt like this guy had the review right, and I couldn't put into words what it was that I didn't like but it works good enough. Cheap and better then nothing!Camera module was easy plug-n-play. Picture quality seems to be good. However, the center line is off center. OEM lined up directly over hitch, this one does not. OEM lines were thicker, and the OEM red/yellow/green edge lines seemed to line up with the sides of the truck, these are narrower. But hey, an OEM replacement from F.ix O.r R.epair D.aily would have been around $300, this was around $52. -Jim in Austin

I installed the camera today. Installation was fairly straightforward. However the screen is now very staticy. Black and white snow blurring the image on my radio.

Fits like a charm. Easy to install. But the image is clearly not as good as the OEM camera.

Fit my 2014 F150FX4 perfectly. Clarity is amazing and lines match nicely. Ford dealer wanted $180 to determine if camera was bad, are you kidding me. Easy to install, just carefully with putty knife pry off logo. Unscrew bracket, unplug old, plug in new. Reassemble. Done!!

Even better than I could have hoped.This camera is clear and bright.More can be seen than expected.

Likes: Easy to install, great picture quality.Dislike: center line on screen is not center with truck, can not install wiring plug all the way on until it snaps its like to bottoms out before it clicks and locks. Lastly, zoom feature on screen does not function.Overall it will work for what I use it for which is back up to hook onto trailers. Don’t buy if you are very picky and looking for perfection. It’s a 2013 F150 FX4 with 250k km’s so no going to worry about it.
