Good product

I'm afraid this is rather negative as the unit appears to record position quite well but the Bluetooth connectivity is so ineffective as to be unusable.This device does not work with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Whilst I occasionally was able to receive a signal on my Windows 7 laptop I never could on the Windows 8.1. I managed to download a couple of tracks but this is inconsistent and totally unreliable.The Canmore software that comes with is equally unreliable and does not allow you to select the com port in use (you need to be conversant with com ports and bluetooth) so unless you are lucky enough to have hit on the right com port by accident you cannot download anything. The advice given in the instructions to set the baud rate at 38400 id also wrong as the only success I got was when it was set at 4800.Don't buy.

I have not finished tweaking but so far it does not work well with Windows 10 and is not as accurate as my phone's GPS on the the same app. software comes on a mini disk

Ich bin Fotograf und benutze den GPS Logger zum Aufzeichnen meiner Fototouren und zum Geotaggen meiner Bilder. Die vom Gerät bzw. der CanWay Software erzeugten GPX Dateien lassen sich problemlos in Adobe Lightroom im Kartenmodul automatisch (per Zeitstempel) mit den aufgenommenen Fotos verknüpfen, so hat man immer eine Übersicht wo man schon war und welche Bilder dort aufgenommen wurden. Die Akkulaufzeit ist besser als erwartet, ich habe das Gerät auf die Aufzeichnung alle 5m eingestellt, es hält mit voll geladenem Akku ca. 2-3 Tage durch (je nach Bewegungsmuster). Manchmal vergesse ich es im Fotorucksack und wundere mich am nächsten oder übernächsten Tag dass die LED immernoch fleißig vor sich hin blinkt. Die Aufzeichnungsgenauigkeit ist hervorragend, ich hatte bisher keine oder kaum Ausreißer was die Position angeht, alle aufgezeichneten Pfade sehen sehr genau aus. Die CanWay Software ist etwas hakelig in der Bedienung, allerdings benötige ich sie lediglich zum Exportieren der GPX Dateien, was ziemlich schnell und einfach mit wenigen Mausklicks erledigt ist. Außerdem kann man dort die Touren auf der Karte nachverfolgen wenn man möchte (plus jede Menge weitere Funktionen, die ich aber nie nutze). Das Gerät ist schön leicht und macht einen gut verarbeiteten Eindruck, die Gummierung außen hält seit fast einem Jahr ohne einen Kratzer (bei täglicher Benutzung, allerdings ist der Fotorucksack auch innen gut gepolstert und ich habe ein eigenes Fach für den Logger). Bisher also keine Probleme und eine absolute Kaufempfehlung! Vor allem wer den Akku seiner Kamera schonen möchte bekommt hier eine günstige und genaue Möglichkeit zur Aufzeichnung der GPS Daten (und das dauerhaft und nicht nur beim Aufnehmen des Bildes, so kann man seine Touren noch besser nachverfolgen).

ottimo tracciatore GPS facile da usare, leggere bene le istruzioni prima di usarlo, molto preciso nelle tracce, veloce intuizione per il dialogo col PC...

El dispositivo es poco configurable. El programa da una información muy pobre, es necesario exportar la ruta en un formato determinado para acudir a otros programas. El vendedor no aporta ninguna información ni contesta a los mensajes solicitando ayuda.

Nach gut 8 Jahren löst sich der schwarze Samtlack auf der Oberfläche auf und wird klebrig. Das Gerät ist somit nicht mehr nutzbar. Insgesamt fand ich den Empfänger nur mäßig gut, die Software schlecht.
