Fantastic grill/smoker. I get a ton of use out of it. Well worth the purchase. I use it far more for grilling than smoking. It's a decent smoker as far as flavors go but that's just how pellet grills are in general: only decent. You're not going to get as much smoke flavor as something like a stick burner or WSM. But for grilling it's been great and adding GrillGrates to it makes it a searing machine. This thing will get hot if you crank the temp up. And Recteq's customer service is top notch. Had to reach out to them because I thought I was having issues with my motor and they sent me out a replacement without any fuss.I'd say the only downside to it is if you want to use the app to control it, you have to set up an account with Recteq because remotely controlling it requires that it run through their cloud. Cool if you're away from home for some reason and have to monitor it but I don't typically do that. I'd rather the app connect locally over my WLAN for numerous reasons. But you don't need to use the app if you don't want to since you can just run the controls at the grill itself.

The grill was easy to get started using the app. I've grilled/smoked chicken, pork chops and ribs. I have a 250gal tank wood smoker that I have been using for years. This pellet smoker grill is very close to the smoke flavor from the large wood smoker. The best part is the ease of use, fill with your pellets of choice, set the temp/time and let the smoker/grill do the rest. Reqtec has a lot of recipes I plan on giving a try.

The media could not be loaded. Pricey but my husband wanted it for Christmas and so his wish is my command! He loves it and smoking meats/grilling is his thing so he’s been making great use of it the past five months.The assembling was straight forward and we just followed the instructional video.Super easy to wheel around. We would lose connection on the app which was pretty annoying but then we got a wifi connector so that helped a lot. I do wish we are able to access the grill on the app if we’re not in radius of the smoker but other than that, it’s great! Highly recommend.

I have had it for 6 months and enjoy it immensely. The cook results are always crowd pleasers. Even my daughter who doesn't eat much meat seems to love it.The product is well built and I have had to use customer service a few times and they have been absolutely amazing. Live knowledgeable people answer the phones immediately. Go figure how nice that is these days. I will say the pain seems to flake under some heat. They've had to send me paint touch up kits but no big deal.

I cannot rave about this more. I spent many hours scrolling to find the perfect smoker. I wanted a smoker that I could use wood or pellets and also propane in order to regulate the temperature when smoking for long hours. I didn’t find that as my solution, I found this!! Perfect pellet feeder keeps the pellets coming consistently. The huge hopper design keeps the temperature in the smoker accurate by feeding the pellets to the auger with little or no jamming to ensure a steady flow all night long. Its electric auger and flame system does not require any gas. Plug in, load pellets and go! I didn’t know how I would feel about this initially, but I’m sure glad I gave it a go. The smoker has a roll top and boy is it heavy duty. This is not a sissy machine. Very well built and the coolest horns! Everything I’ve smoked in this has came out delicious. Evenly cooked and a great smoke ring.

So I recieved the grill a few days ago, put it together. I noticed in the assembly video there was rubber pads behind the bull horns but none came with it. Called recteq, they said the new models are like this but would send them if I would like..I said yes.After assembly I fired it up to do the initial burn in (400° for an hour). Went to the store to get meats, when I got home grill was showing 170° and the temp was going down.. diagnosed the issue ended up being the auger motor. Ordered one from Amazon with next day shipping (it was 2rpm instead of 3rpm). Now it works great!! Called recteq told them the issue..they are overnight shipping a new auger motor! Awesome customer service! I couldn't get the wifi app working either..was ready to send controller back but it turned out the recteq app for Android doesn't work, for iphone it does. I downloaded tuya smart app, was able to control and update grill from it. Sucks to face these issues with a brand new grill but good to know Recteq has your back!

I’m hoping Amazon doesn’t delete this review. They did my last one. This smoker is amazing. The quality is incredible. You had me at the horns on the lid for handles. The food it produces is incredible. The metal is thick. All the holes lined up when putting it together. It was easy to put together. Two of us did it. When the manual didn’t show up after the QR Code didn’t work, customer service was on it. They answered the phone on a Saturday! A human helped! Got that smoker put together in no time. I left a poopy review the first time because the shipping company they use put it in our driveway, blocking it from delivery trucks coming in and out. It was right before Christmas and we live in the country. We were definitely getting deliveries. I was very upset. Especially when the guy lied about how he couldn’t use a pallet jack on gravel right after he used a pallet jack on gravel. Customer service immediately wanted me to be happy. How awesome is that? You just don’t get that kind of service anymore. Except from these guys! Buy from from them. The smoker is amazing and most importantly, so is the customer service.
