People always say animals don’t do things out of malice. As an owner of a Bengal cat I can tell you that they do actually do things out of malice/for attention etc.If my cat isn’t fed when he wants he will meow (Bengals are loud) constantly and if he still isn’t fed - if I’m in the shower or something he will scratch and spray against the door. To stop this ruining the door or floor we have a board to block him doing this but obviously if he sprays against it that would ruin the board. This wall protector works brilliantly. Have used it to cover the board and it’s easy to clean so prevents any damage.

I have used this in an area of our kitchen where we have a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and its near to our cooker where we can suffer some splash marks on the walls.The plastic is easy to cut to size however being supplied on a roll I found that in needed to reverse roll it and leave it flattened down for a period of time to take the curl away from it.Backing paper peels off easily and the product stuck easily to our wall. You receive a small plastic tool to use to help remove air bubbles and for the product to stick properly to your wall. This worked well and now the area is protected and splash marks/stains simply wipe off.There is a shine to the plastic as expected, its not invisible but it does the job.

The media could not be loaded.  The protective covering isn't the stickiest in the world and needed perseverance to get it to hold down. On a completely flat surface, it wasn't too bad. However, I have a wooden litter box enclosure and I tried to get it to stick at a right angle, going from the floor on to the back panel. Even with the scraper and pressing it right into the edges to get a tight crease, it didn't like it. I used a second piece to go on the back panel and overlap onto the floor. It sticks well to itself but creases terribly. As for the large flat areas, some of the edging didn't stick down brilliantly. Also, the listing states that the covering is clear. When held up without the backing, it looks like the frosted window covering that you would use for a bathroom. Stuck on, it's not as bad, but does have a haze to it. After nearly three weeks, it is still holding, although I've noticed a crease and a couple of bubbles at a quick glance.

This is a nice big roll of surface protector. I haven't been able to apply it yet, as we are still finishing the kitchen cupboards, where I want it to go. I want to use it where our cat has his food dishes, as he's a messy eater and it will stop food getting stuck to the newly painted cupboard.I'm a bit unsure whether it will take any paint off if I ever try to remove it, but the intention is for it to be pretty much permanent, so it shouldn't be an issue.The roll of plastic film comes with clear instructions and a small tool to use as a squeegee for application. Looks good.

Nice and easy to use as the backing paper is marked with lines and squares so its quite easy to make a straight cut with scissors. The backing paper comes off pretty easily and the protector is sticky enough to stay in place nicely. It is quite thin so isn't really heavy duty but is ideal for presenting an easy to wipe surface to protect from splashes and the like. If you are planning to bash the wall with heavy objects (does anyone really do this!?) it might not be suitable for you but I think it will be suitable for us to use in the cupboard to prevent saucepans etc. from scraping the wall.My main concern was how much damage would be done to a reasonably sound painted plastered wall so I did a small test piece in an unobtrusive spot and removed it shortly after. The answer is that some surface paint came off with the strip but no damage to the plaster. On the basis that if you are removing this its probably to redecorate i can't see this being a particular problem.

No issues sticking this over a painted plasterboard wall in a wet bathroom area.I used it below a hand drier to provide a splash protection for the wall which has always suffered from marks and peeling paint due to the amount of water pushed onto the surface from the drier.This solved the problem instantly.. I put 2 sections with a slight overlap, and now the water just runs off or evaporates long before causing any issues.It can also be removed without damaging the finish of the wall very easily, but has a good amount of cling and a light stickiness to keep it in place.

About six months ago, we built a feeding shelf for our two cats. They need to eat in a place high enough so that the dogs don't get into the cats' food. The shelf is ideal and we were so proud of ourselves, however we forgot about one thing: our cats are slobs! Not only were they getting food spatters onto the shelf. but they were also dirtying the wall behind the shelf. We didn't want to ruin the paint with repeated washings, so we decided to try the Clear Wall Protector Contact Paper. Perfect solution! The paper was easy for my husband to cat and install. It took him about 20 minutes to do the wall behind the shelf and the two side walls. He used wallpaper tools to smooth out the paper. The paper is so clear that I had to feel it to make sure it had been installed. It's easy to clean, stuck on food just wipes off. No more worries about damaging the paint. If you have sloppy cats or dogs - this is the product for you!

Die Wandschutzfolie gefällt mir sehr gut, ich habe sie jedoch etwas zweckentfremdet.Da meine beiden Katzen leider absolute Schweine sind, wenn es ums Fressen geht (das Fressen wird von ihnen aus dem Napf gerissen und dann auf dem Fußboden verspeist), habe ich nach einer günstigen Möglichkeit gesucht, meinen Laminatboden etwas zu schützen.Diese Folie war die perfekte Lösung.Sie lässt sich gut zurecht schneiden und klebt ohne Zutun auf dem Laminatboden.Ist sie schmutzig, hebe ich sie einfach vorsichtig an und reinige sie mit Spüle und Wasser und einem Schwamm, lasse sie trocknen und lege sie wieder hin.Endlich keine Sauereien mehr direkt auf dem Fußboden.Perfekte Lösung für schmales Geld. :)

Ho preso questa pellicola trasparente per uno scopo un po’ diverso dal solito. Cercavo qualcosa che mi permettesse di proteggere la parete alla quale è poggiata la mia scrivania dalle impronte di scarpe che inevitabilmente si creano quando sono seduto a lavorare.A casa, ad accompagnare il rotolo di pellicola, arriva anche una piccola spatola, da utilizzare per rimuovere le eventuali bolle d’aria che si formano durante il montaggio.L’applicazione è facile e veloce, e non richiede particolari conoscenze, né l'aiuto di una seconda persona. Basta pulire bene la superficie sulla quale la si vuole applicare, e successivamente incollarla facendo attenzione a non formare troppe bolle d’aria. Si attacca facilmente e ha davvero una presa molto forte.La trasparenza è buona. Io ho una parete bianca, e sotto la scrivania non si nota affatto. Sembra non ci sia niente. Su mobili, o comunque su superfici un minimo colorate, credo si potrebbe notare leggermente, però non stona, né richiama troppo l’attenzione. Diciamo che tra tutte le pellicole che ho provato finora, questa è tra le più trasparenti e “invisibili”.Per quel che riguarda la protezione dalle impronte di scarpe non posso che elogiare questo prodotto. Finalmente posso stare tranquillo e stendere un po’ le gambe senza dovermi preoccupare di macchiare la parete. A giudicare dalla rigidità direi che è anche sufficientemente resistente alle zampette di cani e gatti. Con le scarpe, a quasi un mese dal montaggio, non mostra alcun graffio. Ogni tanto va pulita, ma basta un semplice panno umido e qualsiasi impronta o macchia viene via.In termini di durata del tempo, finora si sta dimostrando all’altezza. Come detto, io l’ho montata circa un mesetto fa, e ad oggi la pellicola è ancora saldamente incollata alla parete come il primo giorno. Ai fini di questa recensione ho attaccato anche due piccoli pezzi di pellicola, uno su un mobile e l’altro sulle mattonelle in cucina. Ad oggi, sono entrambe ancora perfettamente in posizione. Non ho notato problemi di aderenza, né di sollevamento degli angoli.Rimuoverla è abbastanza facile e veloce. Basta sollevare uno spigolo e tirarla via. Sul mobile e in cucina non ho avuto problemi. È venuta via facilmente e non ha rovinato le superfici. Non ho provato sulla parete della scrivania, perché temo che una volta rimossa non si incolli più, ma credo che se la pittura non è ben stesa e asciutta, potrebbe tirarsela un po' via.Ad oggi (Dicembre 2023) viene venduta a poco meno di 13€, prezzo che reputo corretto ed in linea con la qualità del prodotto.Come voto ho deciso di assegnare cinque stelle. A me è piaciuta molto. È facile da montare, si pulisce in pochi secondi, e sembra capace di durare nel tempo. Ad oggi non ho identificato alcuna criticità, pertanto mi sento di consigliarla.Ti ringrazio per aver dedicato il tuo tempo a leggere la mia recensione. Ce film est fin mais assez rigide, oubliez de le mettre comme moi en protection d'un coin en bois.Il est brillant, difficile à oublier malheureusement. Posé sur une jambe, un appui léger avec un ciseau le transperce facilement.Il n'y a pas de découpe au milieu pour décoller facilement le collant.Il n'a que peu d'avantage à mon goût 😕
