We put this in our protein shakes daily. It does have a taste and changes the taste of the protein shake but I don't mind it.

The smell is like a sea weed covered rock beach, naturally, and at first it's overwhelming. But made into a soup with hot water and a lot of lemon juice, pepper, green onions and chiso furikake and you have wakame soup, which is quite palatable. As far as taste, I can't imagine it in a fruit smoothie, but oriental soups like miso might be good.

It’s the good old green stuff I’ve always been mixing in my smoothies to make my farts smell like the wharf. I was using my trusty old spoon to scoop up some greens one morning when I found myself in an unexpected sword tangle with the included FREE SCOOPER hiding underneath. That thing is going straight into that loose part of the silverware drawer where everything gets lost with the best of intentions as soon as I finish this tub!

I don't feel this is a legit product. It leaves a thick residue in your mouth and the only nutrition information on the package is Vitamin C?? Also, sprulina usually is a much darker green. I like that the company has made the packaging easy to reuse, however their claim that plastic is more environmentally friendly than paper or aluminum is a joke. Oh and, this item isn't returnable!

Probably shouldn't surprise me but I have no idea what to mix this with to be compatible with the flavor. I would say 100% not for a sweet fruit smoothie. It's probably healthy. No other flavor/scent seems to be there to cover it, probably a good thing.

Great quality spirulina powder. I've bought many other brands in the past but this is the best so far. I highly recommend this brand.
