Out of date
Book is written in such a way as to be very entertaining, but it is two doctor's out of date.

Perfect Christmas gift for a youg Whovian
This was a gift for my great-nephew, age 8. He has worn the book out to the point that I may have to buy him either a new copy or a roll of duct tape. He is a new convert, Matt is his First Doctor, and he absolutely adores both him and the book. Being a long time fan, I remember how painful that first regeneration can be (actually they all are), and I hope having this superb book will help him make the transition to Peter/Twelve. Long live Doctor Who!

Reads just like Matt Smith!
I bought this book as a gift for my 12 year old brother. It is absolutely beautiful. The pictures are crisp and it is written perfectly. You can just hear the Doctor talking as you read. My Bro and I are both totally into Doctor Who, he'll be so psyched to get it.Although this is obviously written for a juvenile audience, any true Whovian will really relish this book. its a treasure for all ages! Snap this up now!!!

Good gift
Great gift for a teenage Dr. Who fan. It was a bit kiddish for my husband and should have been noted that the book was more for kids or teenagers. Otherwise the book is great, arrived on time, had a great price and was in perfect shape.

our grandson loves his book
he reads it & then when we watch dr.who he'll tell us if we ask who or what is happening he really is in to watching dr who & we don't mind because it's made for families to enjoy together. reading & enjoying what we enjoy helps us to read even more, so when children want to read & it's a good book why not

Awesome
I bought this for my wife, a huge Dr Who fan, and she adored it. It's for younger readers but still fun. Took a bit to get it (ordered just after the holidays) but worth the wait. I'll gladly buy from this seller again.

A good summary handbook of Doctor Who topics.
This may not be as comprehensive as the Encyclopedia, but it is a great topical guide and includes observations on characters and things from the Doctor's perspective. It is also a more manageable volume than the tome-like Encyclopedia.Truly great for younger fans.

Four Stars
While I like the title, it could easily have been called Doctor Who 101.

A Pale Imitation?
I was a little disappointed by this, thinking that it might be a similar but updated version ofย Doctor Who Encyclopedia (New Edition) ย which has to be pretty much the definitive Encyclopaedia on all things in the Who-niverse - it isn't. It's nice enough of course but hardly comprehensive. A nice addition to my collection, though. Doctor Who Encyclopedia (New Edition)

Good Fun, easy reading.
This was a present for my 8yr old son. He is very pleased with it.The images are good quality and great for a young Doctor Who fan. The only downside is that the text is written as if the Doctor himself is talking so it is fun to read but not actually that informative. Fine for my sons age but probably not that great for older fans.

All the facts at your finger tips
My niece had this as a Christmas present and tells me she is constantly dipping in to it for facts and figures on her beloved Dr Who. Well illustrated and with references to all the adventures - not just the recent ones
