Needed something for my inshore boat that does not have a permanent VHF mounted. This one checked all the boxes for my application and fits an Icom M94D perfectly. I will probably add a Seadek pad to reduce any noise and vibration. Will also fit the Minn Kota Ulterra remote nicely.

Good but too small to fit VHF with belt clip attached
This was the only holder for a handheld VHF I could find that is designed to mount to rails. From that perspective it's pretty good, as it does what it says and it was my only option. The main downside is it doesn't fit a Standard Horizon HX870 vhf with the belt clip on. If I remove the belt clip it fits. I don't use the belt clip much so will probably just take it off.It was a little disappointing though because the product description says it includes 1/4" additional clearance for belt clip at the top ring. But this was not enough clearance for a pretty standard VHF. The depth at top ring measures 2", and the VHF with belt clip on is 2 1/8". They should make it just a little bit larger.

Great accessory for a center console with a T-Top
Easy installation and a perfect fit on my t-top. Holds my I-com handheld great, no chance of it ever bouncing out. Quality construction, very happy so far.

Fits my Cobra MR HH350 perfectly with belt clip. Good access to controls and buttons. Exactly what I wanted. Appears to be very well built and strong.

Like a fool I am, I didn't realize that I was trying to mount this wrong and requested a return. Being a dumba$$ I finally realized what I did that was wrong. It fits just as I had hoped it would. GREAT PRODUCT.
