Very interesting read
I really liked reading this book, because it is very interesting and covered a lot of different areas. The books allows you some small understanding of her world, it is full of dry humour, even in some of the nastiest situations that are described. In places Jennifer she writes with justified righteous anger; however in other places she has a lot of unresolved anger issues, that really show. Especially with a particular Abrahamic deity, which in other readings the advice has always been to respect it like all other deities and enties for their assistance to humanity, as well as acknowledging their involvement in many of the negative aspects. When I read these types of book, I always want to establish credentials i.e. the history of the author, if they have any agendas, reasoning to write, how much is truth, is there wishful thinking on the part of the author, can any of it be verified or is there any evidence to support the opinion and information? Unfortunately I cannot find much on Jennifer Shepard, which immediately rouses suspicion in me, for a number of reasons. It is likely for genuine concern and good reasons to protect her privacy, which cannot be faulted. Her website was very interesting with further bits of information but hadn't been updated in a number of years, when I bought this book about 4 years ago. I don't think there have been any no new books written and the website doesn't exist anymore, which makes me wonder what happened to Jennifer.Did she go underground/ was she forced to dissappear from mainstream society or did something more sinister happen to her?

This book will help you heal and also really open your eyes.
This book reached my hands through a series of events. Which really makes sense because of the type of energy this book contains. Its just one of those mystery books about the unknown. The author, Jennifer is someone who really has an opinion. Its very current too considering the recent revelations we've had about Snooping on the Web by secret organisations. She rants. Proudly I might add. But for good reason. There are far too many of us going into the world of the unknown opening ourselves up to things we know nothing about really. Just the word of someone else. There are far too many books out there encouraging perhaps a dangerous path of attracting the wrong kind of unseen energy.Somebody needs to stand up and tell us to be cautious and careful what we get ourselves involved in. Do we know the linage of that person's spiritual energy? How pure is it really? What's the real agenda behind it?I'm certain that a lot of people are unaware just how powerful we really are as spiritual beings. But we are in the dark. We need someone to come forth and say " before you decide on this initiation ceremony are you 100% sure this is as pure as it appears?"The Journey Jennifer takes us on is a very thrilling and exciting ride. Its not all pure on the other side. Its as dangerous as it is on this side. This makes sense. We have yin and yang down here. Darkness and light. Why would it be any different elsewhere in the universe. After reading this, Channelling seems like madness! And don't get to gooey-eyed about UFO's either! To write a book like this requires guts. She's set herself up really as a bit of a target. Wonder why URI Geller suddenly stopped being everyone's favourite psychic? There are good reasons.Jennifer is a warrior of light. She doesn't take any prisoners either. She shoots from the hip. But I feel she is the real deal. I like to think I have a good sense about these things. The time-travelling healing meditation is very strong and powerful if you do it right. Just remember don't create any shapes or symbols while practising it!!I've done the meditation twice. Its made some enormous shifts in me. They are subtle but to me they are huge. The timeline meditation will help set your course right. Make you more aerodynamic and slippery through your journey of life. The early part of the book is setting the tone of what's really out there and what we need to be careful of. A lot of people, myself included, are a bit too quick to believe in books that make great sense. As a result of burning my fingers in the past I've set myself a path of focusing on Zen and single point breathing. Just keeping it simple and avoiding the fantastic. I've achieved great results from this. But I want to expand a bit more but it needs great caution. I feel this book has opened my eyes to just how cautious we need to be.

Learned lots from this book and had fun reading it
I have always been abit skeptical of alot of spiritual practices but looked into them hoping to find something in them, often just finding that alot of so called 'spiritual people' are actually on a massive ego trip which always made me feel slightly disillusioned. I saw first hand after selling crafts & paintings at mind body spirit shows the flawed nature of many of the 'Spiritual' practitioners (or as Jennifer would call them 'Sew age' practioners!) from a aura photographer declaring himself a 'highly evolved god like being' whilst I spent the day opposite him and observed him letching and perving over any women that came near him & at one point he actually slapped me on the arse when he had come over to my stall with a picture of the wizard Merlin to say how much he looked like him! I had a angel lady who told me to book a place on her angel course soon as the arch angel Michael had told her to put her prices up in the new year, I thought no wonder the world is in such a mess if the angels are busy sorting out this lady's finances. I also witnessed various bickering and bitchiness over pitches & money from all these so called spiritual people. Even after this opened my eyes I remained positive that there are still genuine spiritual people out there and always felt that there was a lot more going on in the world than what we see. I was drawn to reading Jennifer's book by reading her excellent blog and lots of what she said really rang true with me, from the dangers of Reiki to the nature of reality, it's all in this book and lots more besides with lots of ranting(needed due to the subjects covered), swearing (funny!) and genuine warmheartedness. I felt like she really does care and wants people to open their eyes and see what's going on for themselves not just follow what she says blindly. I learned lots from this book and her blog I will definitely be getting any books she writes in the future.
