Weird question, do you think milk will last in this? I'm thinking this might work for my daughter getting her own milk for cereal.

It’s a glass bottle or jaw. Properly refrigerated milk should last as long as the date marked on the container and maybe taste better. Using and liquid would require increased cleaning of the dispenser to prevent a sour taste and possible contamination.

Does anyone know where you can buy stands for these dispensers?

If you know someone who could put some pieces of wood together and stain it with a safe stain (which I have found on Amazon before) than need thin nails with no heads an you could make it the size you wanted and color as well. Should be easy if someone has a saw.

I'm using it in the fridge for lemon water. Works great so far. Takes up little space.

How do you put this together?

It's well packed and it's already together. There is no "putting it together". I use of for my cooking oils for easy dispensing.
