This PVC cover will protect your luggage whenever you travel. I have Pendelton luggage and actually sent a bag, upon the advice of a local luggage shop, through baggage handling on a flight. The luggage went in pristine and come out looking like it had been handled by a gorilla, just like those very old American Tourister commercials. After a long discussion with my luggage shop (who said I should have used these covers while traveling, even though he did not suggest this until after I complained nor do they sell them), the manufacturer, and Pendelton, I received two new bags. I bought these covers which do prevent the terrible scarring and damage to the face of the luggage. However, they do not last. I traveled three times on my last cover, and, when I returned, I purchased a new one because the old one had ripped through. Fortunately, these are cheap and the luggage is not.

I purchased 20” and 26”. Perfect for protecting checked luggage and my carry-on if I need to do a gate check in. It can be stored inside the fabric sleeve after removed and folded. There are no side cutouts but I’m ok with that since the cutout on top aligns perfectly for TUMI. The fit allows room for expanding luggage but doesn’t look baggy while not expanded. Hope this helps when searching for protection, there are many to choose from and went through 3 different vendors before I found this.

This thing is perfect! I used to have a cloth cover on my old suitcase, but the problem is you then cant see your actual luggage color. I love the clear. This cover proved it's worth ten fold the first time I used it. I was flying in a small plane so despite having carry on sized luggage I still had to check it. I have a plastic top suitcase so I worried about cracking and scratches. Good thing I bought this because upon retrieving my baggage from the carousel I noticed SO MANY BLACK SCRATCHES. I've attached a photo so you can see what one flight segment did. When I removed the plastic protective cover there was not a single scratch or dent on my actual luggage! In addition, there are no holes or tears in the plastic cover which means I can use it again. Update: I've used it on 4 more flight segments and it's held up! Buy it if you love your luggage!

The company appears to have changed the product but not the online description. Ordered one few months ago and got the item with right cutouts and a pretty large Velcro flap. I was happy with that so ordered more for my other 30' and 26' bags. The covers that arrived were different from previous one - 1. No cutout on the side, left or right; 2. Top has only one cutout now for the retractable handle now unlike the old one which had an additional cutout for the regular handle as well; 3. two thin strips of Velcro instead of one wide that did a good job of staying stuck. With these missing cutouts it's going to be impossible to pick my large bags off the baggage carousel. The plastic is still the same quality and seems sturdy but with the product changes, the cover is useful only for storage and not for transportation.

I ordered the 26 in. My suitcase was 26 in from the top to the floor (including the wheels) and 24 in just including the body of the suitcase. The cover is a little baggy but overall fits good and seems to be good quality. The side handle opening is on the wrong side for my suitcase personally but I don't mind really as long as the top handles line up but if thats something you're concerned about I would check your suitcase, the opening on the cover is on the right side.

I looked all over Amazon and couldn't find any clear covers with the handle opening on the left side. Turned this one inside out and it does the trick!It's a snug fit so giving 4 stars for now and I'll report back after I travel with this with a full suitcase.

Amazing protector. I bought a brand new set of champagne colored suitcases and was afraid that my large one would get dirty when I checked it in. I saw a blogger online use one of these protectors and luckily found a similar one on amazon. It fit my suitcase perfectly. The Velcro is sturdy on the bottom so it stayed on very well. When I got my suitcase from the baggage claim, there were black marks all on the outside of this plastic protector but none of my suitcase. I used it for one international trip but checked it in on 4 different flights and it lasted the entire time with no issues. Highly recommend for the price.
