As a former professional chef I take my cookware seriously and demand a lot. The Black Cube line is easily the very best cookware I’ve ever used. The construction is very solid and comfortable to handle. The lids fit perfectly and allow you to see through them to monitor progress without having to open it and let the heat/steam escape. The steam vent gives more options for times you don’t want the steam to build. They heat very fast and can be used on any heating element (although I haven’t tried the induction or campfire options yet). But what is ultimately the best feature is their extraordinary cooking surface that both provides even heating and a truly persistent nonstick surface indefinitely. I have had a small fry pan (8”) for 2 years and it’s surface is pristine even after being used hundreds of times. The metal utensils don’t harm the Black Cube surface and silicone is obviously a delight as well. Finally these are the easiest pans to clean and they look beautiful. I usually just sweep out the residue and toss them in the dishwasher to have them emerge looking spic and span and handsome as the day they arrived. I enthusiastically recommend the entire Black Cube product line.

I cannot give this product enough stars! I had seen a similar item at a home show and was super impressed. Went looking for that brand and found these (similar but different in a special way - seamless - no rivets on the inside). The non-stick buried in the hex lasering is brilliant. (Note: This does not mean teflon - you will still oil this pan just a little bit - I like using Pam myself.) Cleanup is a breeze. Wipe with a damp paper towel is all that is needed most of the time. However, if something sticks, soaking for a few minutes loosens food (plus you are welcome to simply scour if you wish - it truly will not hurt this pan). I cook with induction so water boils in just a couple of minutes plus food cooks quickly and evenly. These pans are very high quality stainless steel and the non-stick finish does not get scratched - I have never seen this before. The quality is superior! I am a skeptic so I bought one chef's pan a year ago - used it daily; I can vouch for the fact that this pan will stand up to the test of time. (I cannot say the same for my long gone Revere Ware or any of the multitude of stainless steel, cast iron, "green" and/or "nonstick" pans that I have had over the years.) So, now after the year-long trial, I am investing in the entire set. No more fighting my stainless pots, difficult sauce pans nor my peeling "green" fry pans anymore. Just one lovely set that will last until I die (who knows, my kids just might fight over who gets my pots and pans...lol).

I have been looking for a good set of cookware that works with induction for over 4 years without breaking the bank! This set checked all my boxes. It is very close to the stainless steel wok that I earned for having a Pampered Chef party (which quickly became my everything pan), but they only have skillets like this and are very expensive. This set is made of the same materials, has no rivets inside the pans, so they are easy to clean, dishwasher safe, oven safe, even heat distribution (I do recommend that in the beginning you lower your normal cooking temps until you find the right settings for what you want to do). They are also very pretty and overall much cheaper than PC or HexClad (which has rivets). The pans can be purchased in sets or individually as needed. My next purchase will be for a smaller sauce pan and possibly another skillet in a larger size as the skillets in this set are on the smaller side, which works great in our empty nester home, but when cooking for a large group I will definitely need a larger skillet.

I owned the large black cube frying pan and wanted a quality pan set, so after trying a couple of cheaper alternatives I purchased this set and was glad I did; they are still working well after 3 years.A couple of things to note; set is 7-piece not 8 with one lid to be shared and stockpot is large and expensive - if you will not use pot then probably better off buying individual items.

Truly none stick. The meats will not stick to the pan. Easy to clean as well.

I found... that they heat up quicker and require 'lower' settings than with previous pans. I LOVE the LIDS with the adjustable venting. HIGHLY recommended. BTW... I spotted these - or something similar - on Hell's Kitchen so you know they're high quality.

UPDATE: Although the initial set was short a lid, the seller sent a replacement set and we are delighted with the product and the customer service. A+++ for this seller.
