Melody Maison Replica Tractor seat bar stool

I bought one of these a few weeks back and was so pleased with it that I bought a second. Although the instructions were a bit sketchy (quite literally), only 12 bolts/screws are required to assemble the entire stool and there is actually only one way that all the parts can sensibly be put together. The seat post is essentially one long screw thread; the seat is raised by rotating counter-clockwise and once the seat is at the desired height it needs to be locked in place with the the handle, which obviously goes clockwise so that it clamps the emerging thread to the base. Rock solid, no wobble. The seat is very comfortable and this is only a surprise if you think that this combination represents style over function - the only thing that you need to consider is that it takes a long time to change the temperature of large lumps of metal!! Very happy with these stools - great at the breakfast bar, near the top of their extension and equally usefully at the dining table at minimum adjustment. The only design enhancement that I could think of would be to have flat feet so that felt pads could be added as floor protectors.

I couldn't seem to find anything i liked in the usual dross of breakfast bar stools available for my new kitchen then i came across these.Easy to assemble, sturdy/heavy duty and a real feature that everyone has talked about. I have an industrial sytle kitchen and they fit right in but with their dark brown colour I'm sure theres a lot of other styles they would go withGreat quality and value - very pleasantly surprised

very happy with stools had lots of comments - only reason didnt get 5 stars is that i have the seat half way extended and there is a little bit of a wobble
