Ratchet style headband, secures snuggly and adjusts easily on your head. The sunvisor fits nicely on the helmet without gaps. My head stays very cool when I ride in the heat.

First it is very inexpensive compared to other helmets, it does have a modern look. the adjustable head band doe not go around the whole helmet but is attached on the side (my old Giro goes all the way around). The front padding it attached to the front of the helmet. Unless your forehead is the same shape as the front of the helmet it is not very comfortable on the forehead. For me I also have a wind noise in my ears even at low speed 3-5 MPH. I bought it for single track MTB riding. I will likely get a better one.

The helmet is alright for the price, has a few blemishes, and dings but looks like it will work its going on trails and eventually will be moved to a backup when I upgrade.. biggest beef is the shipping and handling honestly, shows to be fulfilled by Amazon but not really. Was showing to be delivered on Friday but come that day they finally shipped it out... called Amazon they gave every excuse blaming the 3rd party seller even tho they state it is fulfilled by them. Reached out to the seller and they passed the buck back to amazon... for what it's worth it's cheap and gets the job done but if I had known this was the business model I could have bought a bell from walmart for the same price and had it same day... when all was said and done, Amazon did refund me my money because of the while fiasco so I guess there's that.

The photos listed are pretty much exactly the product. The only differences note worthy is that there were slight "ripples" on the sides of the helmet from what I assume to be just from being compressed to hard when the outter shell was glued to the styrofoam. One feature I really did appreciate was the heavy screws for the visor. There's no way this thing is coming off with the brass screws. Great feature.

The killer feature is it's visor adjustment: wide range, thumb screws for tension.Four instead of five stars because it"s not perfect: the little liner around the forehead/temples needs work.But, if you are shopping, this one is a no-brainer.
