Q: How do I change the filter? No instuctions at all. I'm afraid of pulling on parts and breaking them.

The metal piece that delivers the distilled water, holds the filter. If you push the spout towards the tank, it will release from the "lid". Look at the 4th image on this product. Q: Where can I get an extra water bottle?

Contact the manufactuers or find a compable vessel. You only need to catch the dripping water. You don't have to have the exact same container.

Q: will it distill anything else?

If it is liquid and can be vaporized you can use this machine, The machine heats water tuens it to vapor and producs distilled water as a output. I use my particle analyzer and there .00 percentage of particles in the water. To your question, ask whatever it is you want to distilled, can that be distilled? If it can, this machine can do that job, OK.

Q: Do you need to replace the charcoal or other filter? If yes, is it available on Amazon and what is the cost?

Look on the page to see the replacement cost. It is up to you if you use the filter. It is not mandatory to make distilled water. BTW it tastes wonderful.
