I was skeptical based on some of the reviews...When I received it I immediately took it to my very expensive and supposedly ergonomic office chair and figured out what setting to put it on. Wow...what a difference! For those who do not remember or have never had the experience of sitting on a good quality hard backed chair from back in the day ... the kind that were hand made to support the back and sacral region...this device would seem odd and difficult to get used to. I recall the hard backed chairs and miss them! So good for the back support and alignment! The rocking part is nice because it adds another feature and I did like the rocking from time to time to activate the deep lymph of the ab area during the day. I DID notice that it was easier to get up from the chair right from the start of using this! At the end of the first day my muscles were sore from the 're-training' and actually activating all day vs being slumped. The second day ...awoke with no back stiffness!!! Its a bit pricey for hard plastic but it seems to be competitively priced.

I usually don't write product reviews, but the Ready Rocker 3.0 has helped my back pain so much that I had to.As someone who works from home, I spend 6 hours a day sitting in front of my computer usually with my back slumped and hunched over while typing. This was causing "tech neck" stiffness and lower back pain.Since I started using the Ready Rocker, I sit up straight in the chair with perfect posture while I work without even having to think about it. I haven't woken up with a stiff neck at all (this used to happen on a weekly basis).I even started using the Ready Rocker while I watch TV at night after work. My body hasn't felt this good and pain-free since I was a teenager. The Ready Rocker is sturdy but incredibly comfortable and supportive. I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who work desk jobs or have to sit for any extended period of time.If you've ever had back or neck pain, this is your cure!!!

I got this to help with lower back problems after the PT guru who runs our seniors exercise class brought it in one day (actually for someone else to try), and fell in love with it. If you are older and want to use it for back problems, there are some things to be aware of. Maximum result and muscle improvement will come from slowly pushing back all the way. Don't overdo it. You are actually building up core strength and that can result in some very sore muscles. Do maybe 10-20 minutes a day to start. Shallow pushing (sort of a bouncing movement) is great for relaxing the back and gives more of a rocking chair feeling. But again, start with shorter times and build up. If you are young (meaning anyone under 60), just go for it.It only got 4 stars because of 2 items. First, it takes up a lot of the depth of a seat, so it really doesn't work on a lot of chairs. The other negative was that getting the cover and pad on was a real challenge. Yes, it's great that it has a snug fit, but that meant work. I recommend getting the cover/pad because that plastic is hard.

I bought this hoping that it would be helpful for my back because it would increase movement. I only used it for a couple hours the first day, and found it very painful for my back. The second day I tried it again after making some adjustments. My back hurt just as much and this time the pain lasted for days.It also barely fits in my large desk chair. The width is fine, but it adds many inches to the depth of the chair and I feel like I'm almost falling out of the chair, even with it at the narrowest setting.

Nice product and it does rock, supports your back and it's adjustable. But, it's so hard and uncomfortable and for an old person it's kinda heavy to be moving from place to place. Suggest if you do buy to get something to pad it. I had to return mine

I like the concept of this and that’s why bought it. I want to like this product but I just don’t think it works for me. Maybe I don’t have the right chair to use it on. I tried this out on all of the different chairs in my house to see how it felt and in my opinion it made that same chair feel less comfortable and less natural to sit it. It does rock and provide support while you rock. It’s not flimsy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break but for me it made the experience of sitting in an otherwise comfortable chair less comfortable. It’s made with good quality and it’s sturdy but it just didn’t work too great for me. After about an hour of sitting in each chair I decided it isn’t the right product for me. I work from home and spend long hours in my chair. I need all of the comfort I can get and this did not help with that.

I have tried just about every kind of gadget for back pain. This light gadget works it relaxed my lower back and so much easier to rock with it than without. Rocking release of endorphins—natural hormones that help to reduce pain and create feelings of well-being. I am 75 years old been in pain from accident for 38 years. Doesn't fix it but relieves the pain for a little while. I would buy again. even my husband liked it.

I’ve had a nagging back ache off and on for the past couple of years and have had to use a pillow behind my back while sitting. I saw this advertised and read several good reviews so thought I’d try it and am so glad I did. I’ve had it for about a week and it works like a charm. My posture while sitting is much, much better and my chair is much,much more comfortable!!! It’s also great the it is portable and can be used just about anywhere. Would highly recommend.
