I love this idea, a slate place mat with a nice decoration and message for Santa, alongside a glass tumbler to leave out for the big man when he arrives.The heavy slate place mat can actually be used for other things, of course, and the packaging suggests using it as a centre-piece to get people talking during the Christmas season, but kids will love being able to lay out a special treat for Santa and there's even a space for a carrot for Rudolph, too! It's good quality and even has small rubber feet to protect tables.The only thing I was disappointed with was that the glass tumbler was rather basic and doesn't have any etching or writing on to make it special. It looks just like the ones you get as a Nutella tub and can use as a glass when you finish the Nutella up! I would have loved to see a picture of Santa on the glass, too.

I love the idea behind this - a dedicated tray a glass to appease the bearded weirdo who visits your house one night each year - but it's let down by including a cheap glass. The set would have been better served not including the glass at all - it's plain and you could just as easily grab one from your own collection. Ideally the glass should have come with some sort of festive design, matching what the tray depicts - a simple message, a snowy edge, something simple. Alas, it is what is is. Still, it's something to keep the kids happy and should... should... keep our bearded tormentor content for another 365 days.

This is a really nice item. The slate platter is well made, but not too heavy, it is thin and has four rubber feet on it.. The wording is etched as is a picture of a carrot and a circle with a reindeer in it. Lovely quality. The glass however is basic, it has no markings on it and infact has a few blemishes in the creation of it. This is fine and hardly noticeable but some might prefer to swap it out for a nice one...I might use a festive glass here.

This product has been neatly pit together, a lot of pride has gone into making this because the packaging is really sturdy and well presented.The slate grey mat has treat for Santa crafted into it. There is also 4 rubber protectors underneath.A glass is also accompanied with this set. The idea being that you leave it out on Christmas eve. However I think that is a waste, and have started using it as my fresh coffee station and it works well.

This is an ok product. I am slightly disappointed with the overall quality.The text on the slate isn't very easy to see and doesn't stand out.It isn't very 'festive' looking either.The idea is good but I think it could have been executed much better - especially using more festive colours.

Really weighty and high quality and for the price excellent value. Nice engraving and just perfect to add the added florish to Christmas Eve. My kids will love it and it will also make a great gift for a family with children (Before Christmas Day of course). Overall really nice product I suspect we will use for years.

Nice, simply designed, set for popping out treats for Father Christmas. I like the simple slate, and glass combo. The colour and excitement comes from the goodies added rather than the set itself. I'd preferred it to have said Father Christmas, but that's a small thing. Recommended.

A nice, well made slate and glass set, perfect for those treats for Santa and Reindeer.Obviously despite the message, can be used over the Christmas period.The underside of the slate has some foam pads which will serve to protect your table top.
