Above Expectations
This is a Professional reel. It will accept large connectors inserted from the main drum to the secondary drum without dismantling. I used it for Ethercon cable and it works well. It easily holds the 150 feet of cable I needed. It also has some drag to the reel so that the reel won't spill more cable out when you stop pulling.

Useful for electric fence tape
I bought this Schwabe storage reel for electric fence tape. I wanted one with a stand instead of one to hook onto a fence as I find these are easier to reel the tape up after use. This one is very basic but works OK. It is one piece with the metal stand added. It is advertised as having a brake. That is the worst part of it. The 'brake' appears to be a plastic knob that has to be pushed hard up against the side of the reel to stop it going round but it is not at all efficient, hence I have docked one star. The reel is a decent size for tape, it holds over 200 metres of a mix of 1" & 1.5" tape. Quite good value for money & I would buy it again if need be.

Very stiff
Found the reel very stiff to turn, sent it back as i was unhappy unsure if it was a defect with my particular reel or a common problem.

Not Suitable for Hook-Up Cables with UK 16A Connectors
Not suitable for EHU cables fitted with UK 16A connectors as the reel hole is too small. Obviously designed for EU connectors, unless you're prepared to cut the connector off and rewire.Stiff to wind, even when empty.Returned.

Känns som bra kvalité
Känns gedigen och solid, fyller sin funktion och håller enkelt 50m optisk HDMI (hade nog kunnat ha minst 50 meter mer).

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis i.O.
Die Trommel war ruck zuck bei mir. Auch wenn ich es zuerst nicht glauben wollte: Es passt viel drauf. Ich habe 40 m Rasenmäherkabel mit 8 mm Durchmesser aufgewickelt und war dabei nicht sehr ordentlich. Bei ordentlichem Wickeln wären wohl 50 m möglich, bei dünnerem Kabel auf jeden Fall. Wem die Trommel zu schwer läuft, kann sie auf die Seite legen und WD 40 in die Achslagerung laufen lassen und dann ein paar mal drehen, das wirkt Wunder.
