The whole unit, except the mirror and mirror housing, is made of metal. You can tell because it is cold to the touch. Once you installed the mounting bracket to the bike’s handle bar, you insert the unit into it and you’re done. Personally, I deviated from the instructions and took the nut out before insertion and then put the nut on to secure the unit with a range. The mirror is on a socket that can be rotated to the position you want. With the left and right units installed, I can see everything behind me. The mirror is crystal clear and objects are not too far back in the mirror. The mirror doesn’t move when I rode my bike. Yes, my arm blocked part of the view because I don’t like the mirror sticking high up, but I can still see plenty of the road behind me. For those who don’t like that, the other choice is to get a mirror that installs at the end of the bar. My bike doesn’t have an opening at the end of the handle bar and I don’t want to cut a hole, plus the drawback of that kind of mirror is that it can stick too far out and gets in the way of things, also if the bike topples, the mirror may get damaged. So the there is pros and cons of either format. Just get what you’re happy with. I’m happy with mine.

This is a high quality mirror for your bicycle. It has a nice field of view. It is adjustable. The installation was easy. The mirror is firm and does not move when riding. I can see vehicles coming up from behind early. The road vibrations do not alter where you set the mirror at. The mount system is small enough and doesn't interfere with your grip on your handle bars. Great performance.

They are well-built, strong mirrors that don’t shake while riding. I may need to do a bit more road riding to see how they perform but, because of the slim design, the visibility doesn’t seem as optimal. They do the job though. Maybe I’m used to car mirrors so much that they seem to lack a bit of visibility (or I haven’t adjusted them as I should but round mirrors may be the better option. Only time will tell…

Very good mirrors, glass is clear and they offer a full view for the back of the bike while riding! They rotate 360 degree angle so you can adjust accordingly to your height, I love them!

Works fine but it is hard to see clearly behind me having shorter handlebars. But I do get a clear image of half of my chest!

Fits good. On both bikes. Feels solid, and sturdy. Stays in place. Doesn’t bounce around while riding. Lense feels like actual glass mirror, not that cheap reflective plastic like some use. Easy to install and easy to adjust as well.Happy with it overall and I do recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I found these great mirrors to be perfect. They have aluminum clamps and arms making them durable and steady as you ride for hours. You can hear me tap on them in the video hearing the difference from the plastic to the aluminum. They were easy to put on and are fully actuating to adjust them to how you need them. Great product well done.

Everything worked out. A little tricky to attach securely, but I figured it out. Would have gotten 5 stars except that the taillight batteries were dead on arrival. I used some I had. They're was noone to contact about issue.
