Fixodent Ultra Max Hold is fantastic!I've been using it for a while for fake fangs and other fake teeth for Cosplay and DnD related shenanigans and its brilliant. Not only does it hold up for 8+ hours of constant talking but it also holds through eating! I've been able to eat sandwiches, pork, pizza, cake, doughnuts, and all other kinds of stuff without staining, loosening, or causing pain. You don't need much to get the Fixodent to hold either.If you use more than necessary it does 'smoosh' out and get into your mouth. It will stick to the cracks between your teeth and make them a light pink. Its easy enough to get rid of by wiping, using a flosser, or swishing some water. If it still persists you can brush it out with a damp toothbrush.The taste isn't great, but its not offensive either. Just a momentary unpleasant taste. Texture is bizarre on the tongue, kinda like sticky sand? It feels fine on the gums and teeth, maybe a little tacky before it takes hold.This is well worth the money for my uses, its earned 5 stars!

Fixodent alone does a good job of holding an acrylic upper denture in place, but it hurts when the acrylic comes into contact with soft gum tissues, especially when eating. I've been protecting the gum tissue using SeaBond. However, because SeaBond's fit is loose, a substantial portion of a muffin would cause it to come free. Then I had an aha moment, it made sense to combine Fixodent and SeaBond.After applying the Fixodent then the SeaBond to the denture, using the correct amount of Fixodent, I applied five drops of Fixodent to the SeaBond; two on each side & one in the middle. The big test was to eat something requiring chewing and grinding (roast chicken, a pork chop, and pork stir fry vegies), something I couldn't do with SeaBond alone. No loose denture, no pain and the denture remained in place. Yay!To avoid tearing the SeaBond or causing it to adhere to the roof of your mouth, remove the denture gradually.Hope this helps.

TLDR;used for fake fangsholds wellyes i could eat and drink in themit has a bland tasteit has a gross textureeasy to cleanput on at 3:45 PM and taken out at 12AMi used this for fake fangs. the hold is pretty good, there's definitely trial and error but its worked good so far.it is easy to remove, just dont pull on it. i found its easiest to push your bottom teeth against the fangs until you hear a little pop, or you feel that its become loose, and then you can gently pull them off.the reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of taste and texture.the taste isnt good, but it isnt awful, its kind of bland, a little gross but 100% tolerable!the texture is also a bit uncomfortable, as it sets it sticks to the roof of my mouth and my inner/outer lips. it comes off after a while, i have to lick the CRAP out of my mouth but it goes away eventually!it is also relatively easy to clean, just brush your teeth with regular toothpaste as well as cleaning the fangs with toothpaste or just soap.i did eat in them and they held up good! i ate a burger and fried chicken if that puts into perspective how well it holds. you do have to be pretty careful and eat slowly though

It does adhere well, just not the twelve hours they claim.

Great holding

This stuff works for 24hrs. My crown came out. So, I had to go to the dentist and they put temporary cement in to hold my crown in place until my new crown is made, which will be two more weeks. The temporary cement came out on day one. Ordered this stuff to see if it will work since temporary cement is a little pricey. To my surprise this works better in my opinion and I get a hole tube of for just $6. It only holds good for 24hrs in my experience. I don't have dentures. This is for my crown that came out, so I can't answer for people with dentures. This stuff does a really good job holding my crown in place while I eat. I even tried hard cereal, since I got a whole tube of it and I only need this Fixodent for two weeks. My crown never came out once while eating cereal or whatever food I have tried so far. Very shocked. Works better than the temporary cement my dentist put on that's for sure. After 24hrs it does come loose though. So you have apply it every day.
