PEAK Rotary Vise Midge Jaw

Peak rotary vice was fine right out of the box but I have been tying some very small flies as of late and the standard jaw that it comes with is just a bit large once you get below size 22 hooks. The midge jaws work perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

This accessory is not really absolutely necessary. But although you could get by without it, it definitely gets more "nicer to have" the smaller size hook you go. I recently tied some size 24 dry flies, and I had complete, unobstructed access to the hook. The biggest negative is the the actual changeout between the standard jaw and the midge jaw; you must remove a tiny C-clip in order to remove the handle and handle pin. I tend to leave this C clip off use the vise as normal, and I have yet to have the handle pin slide out. The whole proces only take a minute or two. Overall, it's worth it, and I'm glad I purchased them. Hope this helps! Tight lines!

Nice addition to my PEAK rotary vise, most my flies are #10 or smaller so I just keep these jaws on all the time.

Typical product, well made and will last a lifetime.

Used it already, it works as advertised if you tie flys sz. 16 or smaller this is a great addition to a great vise.

Great addition to my vise. I ty from 16-24 hooks. This is the jaws that should come with the vise I would recommend them to anyone who tys small bugs

Love these jaws, they hold hooks securely even with a size 26.
