My 5/5 star experience with SFT Store! Highly recommended!
Recently my restaurant updated our point-of-sale system from First Data to the Clover (register station). We purchased the P.O.S. equipment through our bank, but did not realize the kitchen printer was not included as part of the package. So we came to Amazon to find it - the Star Micronics SP742ML - and we purchased it through the seller SFT Store. Let me tell you, I’m glad we purchased the printer through them. Having spent three hours on the phone with Clover’s tech support across the span of two days, Clover was still unable to provide me with a solution to my problem - the kitchen printer was not being recognized by the Clover station because of mismatched IP addresses (and while I may not be fluent in ‘tech’, I’m also not tech illiterate). The closest thing to a solution Clover provided me with was “Contact the seller (of the printer).” So I messaged Epsilont, who I assumed was the seller, and they messaged back with “Contact SFT Store.” It started as a headache - having to go from one to the next to the next - but, if that was the headache, the SFT Store Support was my migraine medicine. I sent SFT a message explaining my situation about how Clover’s support team was incapable of finding a solution to my problem, and how I needed to set the Clover up as soon as possible but was waiting on the kitchen printer issue to be resolved, and within minutes (at most half an hour - I was working and not keeping track of the time, but it was quite fast) I received a call from them (I had included my phone number in the message). What Clover could not do for me in three hours, SFT was able to do for me in less than half an hour. I only wish I could remember the name of the knowledgeable gentleman who guided me towards the solution to my problem. Not only did he call, but he Facetime’d me so that he could see my restaurant’s equipment and point out exactly what was what and what needed to go where - along with providing me support for the actual Clover in regards to its WiFi / Ethernet / IP settings. I’m certain most people have heard the phrase “Going above and beyond” - and that certainly applied in this case with the amount of support and help that I was provided with by SFT. I can proudly say that because of them, my restaurant’s Clover system is up & running and it is all thanks to the gentleman I spoke with on the phone who was patient, understanding, kind, knowledgeable, and a great teacher / guide that made everything seem easy. I cannot appreciate him enough. So a big thank you to the SFT team for making my purchase with them the best choice I could have made - and, as a heads up, if you do purchase a Star printer with them, they also sell the paper at an inexpensive and competitive price — they’re definitely worth supporting so I highly recommend you get your paper with them also if you’re able to. I certainly will be - it’s always good to support great businesses. Thank you again for the help, SFT. You’re a 5/5 rating for me!

When clover was out of printers I ordered this one
When clover was out of printers I ordered this one. It took a few days to finally get it to work and it started working when I contacted clover and they did something with their software on their end. If you buy one of these and they don’t work contact tech-support at your POS company because it has nothing to do with the printer but something with the POS software

Horrible Customer Service/Products-DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
Used printer for 2 days then it gave out on us. Flashing red error lights & not responding. I started the return process on the defective machine. Received an email from Mark telling me“Im sure it was caused by the constant rolling blackouts we have had this week and is due no fault of our printer refurbishing or testing process. Its probably a network card that was shorted out to due a power surge and could have easily been replaced given the opportunity to troubleshoot or some communication about an issue prior to starting a return. Thanks!”He actually kept 20% ($50) of my refund for their defective product.. Would DEFINITELY NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/POLICIES....I GIVE THEM AN F-

This is the right one for Square!
I ordered this printer as a kitchen printer for my restaurant. I received it on time and in perfect condition. Setting it up was even easier than I thought it would be. I plugged it in and put in the ribbon and paper. Then I connected it to my WiFi router with an Ethernet cable. My square register found it right away and it works perfectly.

Wrong printer/missing cable and 1 roll of paper
Not sure if I received the right printer because the description reads “ SP742ME Ethernet Receipt Printer” and I received a SP700 printer. However, I am sure that in the description it stays that the printer comes with Power Supply and Cable Included and 2 Rolls of Epsilont Paper. I received power cord, and 1 roll of paper.

Works great
Works great, print is legible. The kitchen staff like the loud printing noise (like typewriter) this was they know when orders come in.Very easy to set up.

Misleading ad / antiquated unit
Sold outdated unit with antiquated connections that are difficult to find. If you're going to sell an outdated unit, or, units needing obscure connections, at least state that in ad, better yet, provide them.

Order the ribbons when you order printer so that you will have correct ribbons.
Product was ordered on Saturday morn and arrived on Monday afternoon. Great service. We are a small town restaurant and needed it ASAP and they performed perfectly in their service. Excellent product and an excellent price.
