Design Not thought out well enough
Good idea, but not thought out all the way through.The material is perfectly soft for an operated on foot.The shape of the "toe" of this sock/slip on-- is fine.But there's no heel on the "sock" so the thing keep falling off, despite the velcro.So I went frantically searching for a wide, soft XXL sock or foot covering after my bandages were removed.We had to ask around what the proper foot covering was called--a stockingnette. Not even the local medical pharmacies knew what we were asking about, until we knew the correct word of stockingnette.My mom ended up sewing her own stockingnette for me.All this stress might've been unnecessary if this black covering had been longer & more developed for a healing, wide, fragile foot.

Depending on cast you may need to modify opening
Ordered this for my son’s cast after having foot surgery. Basically what I expected from the photos. I had hoped the non skid on the bottom would cover more of the area. The opening is too small to fit up the entire foot cast, I plan to cut it and make the opening larger so it fits on the foot without dangling off the toes and hope that it will bring the non skid to a more central part of the cast/bottom of foot area. The buckle stays put and doesn’t loosen with wear and movement. I think if the opening had an optional adjustment this product would get 5 stars from me!

Easy on non slip brace booty!
This little grip booty was a lifesaver for my husband who was in a full leg brace after surgery. The plastic foot piece was a death trap it was so slippery- making transferring from sitting to standing and moving around very difficult. I found this grip sock on amazon and it was perfect. It was easy to get on and off for both me and him. And didn’t add any bulk to the brace.His surgeon, physical therapist, and brace specialist all thought this was the coolest thing and asked for the link so they could recommend it to patients who needed it. :)
