The Rage: Carrie 2 [Region 2] (English audio. English subtitles)

Glad I’m not the only one who loves this movie. Saw it on MGM HD once and fell in love with it. Definitely one of the better teen horror movies from the 90’s; which at times is more of a dark tragic teen love story with an influence of ‘Heathers’ than a horror. The two leads have great chemistry and Emily Bergl is fantastic in the lead; portraying the tragic outsider that you sympathise with. While it is very much a 90’s movie, that doesn’t stop it from being a well made, beautifully shot film; with an ending that will stay with you. You can truly appreciate Katt Shea’s great direction and Donald M. Morgan’s incredible cinematography with the HD transfer. Won’t even compare it to, or mention the original; as aside from few flashbacks, The Rage is its own movie with its own story, that stands perfectly on its own two feet.Overall if you love this movie like a lot of its fans, you should already own it. If you’ve never seen The Rage, then I highly recommend you buy this blu ray.So grateful to 88 Films for giving this underappreciated Gem the cult blu ray treatment they’re known for.

Sequels are alot of the time let downs or not as good especially when the original cast doesn’t return but this is not the case with Carrie 2 although Amy Irving (Sue Snell) is the only original cast member to return this movie is amazing, Emily Bergl is incredible and a terrific plot have loved this movie since it’s release in 1999 and can i just say 88Films has done an outstanding job on the transfer it looks and sounds like a movie shot today, filled with special features and a reversible sleeve of the new and also original cover, fans will love this and so worth the upgrade to Blu-Ray.

Great film very entertaining not recommended for children , kept me in my seat all the time.

It is a nice release

Brilliant film

The media could not be loaded.  It's been about 19 years since i last saw The Rage and i was surprised by how well it stood up. Now it is a product of its time being but that kind of adds to the nostalgia of the piece. As a direct sequel to carrie it's way better than you would expect it to be. There is a nice change of pace from the meek, mild carrie in our new protagonist Rachel who is a self assured presence who is of course pushed too far by her tormenting peers.The transfer is pretty great and the disc has some nice extras that i mention in my review.
