Just received these Semteng shears together with a very similar product (made by Belle Vous at half the price). To be honest - you get what you pay for. The handles are good quality hardwood beautifully formed around the steel making them comfortable to hold. The steel is 4mm thick (as claimed) which makes them very robust. The button lock is simple to use. They cut well though just about all you can throw at them. I would definitely recommend these over cheaper immitations.

I absolutely adore these scissors. They’re super scarp and the steel is very thick and strong. The fact that they come apart for washing is great! So much more hygienic and no risk of pinching yourself or your washcloths between the blades like other scissors. The handles are a pleasure too, I’m left-handed and thankfully these scissors don’t favour either left or right-handed people since they’re symmetrical. The handles are also a little squishy so if you have a tendency to hold your scissors with a vice-like grip you won’t be at risk of getting finger dents like you would with firm plastic handles. Highly recommended!

Well made kitchen tool , a robust design with simple to use locking button to make storage easy.Effortlessly cuts through chicken bones etc , doesn’t replace scissors in a kitchen as won‘t readily cut through paper or thin plastic bags etc - meaning it’s another gadget to find home for - but looks the business .

These are just what one would expect - easy to use and very effective. I find the cheaper ones can be difficult to use in that the blades try and open up. These however stay true. Very effective spatchcocking a large chicken. I would buy these again.

The product looks the part but I couldn’t even cut chicken completely waste of money I would like my money back please.

Bought it as a gift for my uncle. He loves it and recommended it. He said it’s a solid and powerful shear. It’s very easy to cut a chicken or other raw meat. And there is a lock so that it can be put in the drawer nicely.

I quite like this heavy-duty shears. it make the shell cutting job much easily! I use this cut the the crab shells, the build quality is very good, and handles are about the right size. spring loaded lever make easy to use compare to other scissors. highly recemented for crab/lobster lovers!!

This is pretty good. Cut up a whole chicken today. It was pretty sharp for a poultry scissor. Cut up some joints and it cut just fine, no problem at all

Out of the box, would not cut ordinary paper. Sent'em back.

Not sharp. Right out of the package I tried to open a bag of lettuce. No go. Let us agree that this is a reason to return scissors.
