Big!
This is a serious piece of kit. It comes unfilled but still weighs around 5Kg. When filled, depending on the filling, it can weigh up to100Kg. This makes clear why the manufacturer sells unfilled rather than filled bags. Moreover depending on your training routine you can select the most suitable filling. This can range from a core of bags of sand to a collection of old clothes cut up with any zips or metal studs removed. It’s also possible to buy ready-cut fabric to fill the bag. Whatever the filling, the canvas design, double stitching, and strong zips together with metal handing chains mean this bag will survive pretty much anything. To be honest by biggest concern is finding a suitable way of attaching the bag to the ceiling such is its filled weight. The only serious concern I have is the price. At time of review this specific bag is available for a little under £100. This seems costly to me no matter how robust it is. As a result I’ve dropped a star for this.So an adaptable punch bag which is very strong but a little costly and you’ll need to figure out how to hang such a weighty item to a suitable ceiling.Four stars.

Once filled with old fabric, old bedding & curtains etc, this thing as absolutely huge!!!
The “Bullet-Shaped Huge Self-Fill Punch Bag” from “Bull Doza Fight Wear” is an incredibly hard-wearing and robust heavy-duty punchbag that you fill with whatever you want (such as old clothing or similar fabrics) before hanging in your home gym.Over recent months I’ve really been getting into home fitness. As such, I’ve set up a home gym in my summerhouse. I wanted a punchbag for use with exercising, and this self-filled one looked absolutely perfect for me.Set up of the punchbag is relatively straight forward, although you will need a strong and sturdy beam or support to hang the punchbag from. Due to the weight of the punchbag when filled with fabrics such as some old curtains we had, old bedding and other odds and ends, I ended up hanging it from one of the hefty solid wood beams in my garage. The punchbag comes with a huge heavy-duty D-shackle which you can then fix to a chain and then onto your beam or support. I actually ended up using a thick and heavy-duty rope rather than a chain for this. I then twisted four loops of the rope along its entire length and threaded it through the D-Shackle, so it has plenty of support there (i.e. four strips of rope twisted to form one extra strong length). The reason I did this rather than buying a chain, was to reduce the noise in the garage reverberating around the house, and also because I had a good length of towing rope going spare!!!I actually hung the punch bag in my garage before I filled it with the fabrics. I kind of guessed it would probably be easier to fill it that way. Once hung I pushed the fabrics into the open top, until it was absolutely packed full then zipped it up.Once filled this really is a very good punchbag. The feel of the fabric-filled belly of this beast is like no other punchbag I’ve used before. It’s absolutely huge and can withstand so much punishment. The quality of the punchbag is also absolutely top notch. The microfibre of the punchbag is incredibly thick and hard-wearing. You can tell the sheer strength of this before you fill it with fabric. Even before you fill it, there’s some hefty weight to the bag itself. Honestly, this thing is great quality.Very highly recommended!

Heavy duty, massive bag!
I had a punch bag for years until it finally gave up the ghost so I was excited to be able to get another one. And this one is a lot different from the one I used to have. This is humongous! (91 cm high x 61 wide). It's supported by 6 heavy link stainless steel swivel chains, all supported with reinforced pockets that are riveted which looks cool. The chains can be adjusted so the bag suspends 20 to 30 cm from the ceiling. The bag does however need to be attached to a metal plate or something that is able to withstand both the weight and the punishment because this is a supersized bag. There are 6 targets of bulls heads around the bag for aiming which I think looks really good. The bag has reinforced stitching on its thick canvas outer (which looks like leather) and it also has an internal woven lining to give more resiliency. This will definitely be able to withstand a good pounding - it's very well made. What I really like about this punch bag, which differentiates it from others I've seen is that you can self fill it so not only can you choose the fill weight, (it takes up to a 100 kg!), but you're not paying extra for the filling - especially useful when the advice is to pack it with old shredded fabric. What a brilliant eco-friendly and financially friendly way of repurposing old clothes, sheets and everything else that isn't in a good enough state to pass on or give to a charity shop, yet still has the uncanny ability to remain in bags in your wardrobe!Shred the fabric up and stuff it into the bag. Pack it in really tight and it's amazing how heavy it is! I've still got loads more fabric to cut up before this will be filled enough, but that's okay, as we haven't quite finished turning the garage into a place to use our gym equipment, which is where this bag is going.Once it's set up, I'll update the review with a photo if I am able to edit. There is no way anyone who trains with punch bags will be disappointed with this. It's the daddy of all punch bags and totally worth the price. Thoroughly recommended.
