Worked like a dream, better than I was expecting - highly recommended
So I broke my waterslide cherry using this product, which I ordered in a last minute panic to take part in a workshop. It wasn't the 'recommended' brand but I needed something to get to me next day and this is what I opted for.Well, I am happy to say that I'm glad I did. Being a newbie to waterslide I found it to be child's play. Whilst others were having trouble with the 'recommended' brand, I was sailing through and getting on with it like a dream.I had no trouble printing onto it - my prints came out with a beautiful, high sheen look.Applying coats of acrylic spray was no trouble and I was able to soak them for application after about 1.5/2 hours.Soaking the decal and getting it to slide off the backing paper was effortless - you could actually see when the paper had absorbed enough water as the backing paper seemed to rise a little whilst in the water.Applying the decal to the items was no trouble at all, even with me never having done it before!If anyone experiences difficulties, maybe it's because they haven't allowed their acrylic coating to dry sufficient before soaking/not applied enough coats, or perhaps not soaked the decal for long enough in the right temperature water.Obvious care should be taken when applying to surfaces and if you follow the instructions there shouldn't be any problems.I would highly recommend this product and will definitely be purchasing the clear variety.

Difficult to separate from backing paper
I use decal paper to make numbers etc for concerting standard 1/43 car models to rally cars. In past decal paper OK. Howver of late finding it very difficult to separate transfer from backing paper. Used to be able to dip transfer for say 20 secs, but now have to leave for well over minute....odd!!

Transfer release from paper.
Very hard to get the decal to release from the backing paper tried with different temp water & timescales but still not successful.
