While these treads performed as expected, I found after some time that the little non-slip ridges collect dirt which gets ground in and is very hard to clean off. I am going to replace them with some carpet treads. I hope they won't damage our hardwood finish when I take them off.

I have hardwood stairs that ended up being a little slippery even with the bullnose I applied. I took a chance and purchased these. At a glance you can not see them but they have made my stairs safe for my dogs (who were slipping down the stairs and would have fallen or hurt themselves) and my roommate who suffers from a balance disorder. Everyone is safe and secure on the stairs now - thank you for your great product.

These work well on my wooden stool. I do not slip and slide, but the plastic is not invisible and looks pretty hideous. If these were on a staircase, I would be extremely upset by how ugly they look, like fuzzy rice paper melted into wood. There is zero beauty in these.

These are perfect for slick stairs to provide just the right amount of traction. They have helped everyone in the family (adults, 3 dogs, and a toddler) feel more secure and safe on our stairs. No more slide and crash accidents for the dogs alone make them worth it!

I used this for the wooden stairs going down to the basement. Since we have heavy traffic there, I wanted to make sure there would be no slipping. This product just gets the job done. Even with use, the material is tough enough to not get ripped. It does lose the initial stickiness, but definitely not down to being slippery. It's inconspicuous and easy to install as well.

Ok not gonna lieI was not impressed when I first laid these on our steps. They did stand out on the dark wood.BUT AFTER really pressing them down they all but disappeared.They work wonderfully.If your steps are slick these will definitely to the job.

Perfect solution for dog parents. My dog fell down the stairs 3x...luckily not hurt, but it'd be only a matter of time til she DID hurt herself, and she was hesitant & nervous coming down the stairs. Installed these...and it took all of "1" day for her to realize the difference, and now she's safely up & down the stairs with confidence. Problem solved!

The Victorian staircase is steep and has narrow footfalls. The polished timber also makes it a hazard. This really is a good solution as it provides just the right amount of traction underfoot and due to being transparent does not detract from the old polished timber. The strips are a perfect width and I ordered according to the width of the steps. I installed about 20 easily in a few hours after preparing the surface. I used templates in order to get the spacing correct. This will be a godsend for my pups who have slipped on the smooth surface before. Highly recommended.

Habe sie heute auf der Treppe angebracht.Sind kaum zu sehen (kommt auf den Lichteinfall an, und welche die unsichtbar sind gibt es nicht). Sie lang und breit genug für unsere Treppe.Man hat auf jeden Fall einen besseren Halt und die einzelnen Stufen sind nicht mehr so glatt wie vorher.Würde sie definitiv wieder bestellen.Zur Info: Steile und schmale Altbautreppe (mit neuen Setzstufen).

Hade önskat att det var med någon guide/tolk så avståndet till trappkanten hela tiden vart detsamma. Nu fick jag mäta och rita stödlinjer.
