These do what they say on the tin (so to speak)... Perfect for small open wounds and abrasions, and the value for money is exceptional... In Boots it costs upwards of £2 for 3 of similar type swabs, so these are much more cost effective.

Good enough to use loads during a pet first aid course. You can demonstrate a technique and use loads and still have enough left for you first aid kit.

I use gauze swabs dipped in a little warm water to clean my dog's teeth. These are ideal and are not too rough. I am happy with them.

Hmm these are cotton gauze swabs but they are open weave and rough in texture.They are OK for dressings if used as top dressings as protective layer.They should not be used directly coming in contact with a wet wound as they would dry between dressings and then pull good newly healed tissue away unless soaked off etc.......
