All metal outer
I chose this mister because all of the outer parts are metal. I knew from other reviews that the inner parts were plastic and that the mist would not be super fine, and both of those things I have found to be true. I do not mist the plant in place because it would get the shelf and other items wet, so I simply take the plant to my bathroom counter or even into the shower to mist it, no big deal.

You can leave the spritzer out and it looks decorative by your plants highly recommend it

The best little sprayer
I have purchased 3 glass plant sprayers the sprayer always broke. This one the sprayer is better quality, love the sturdy stainless steel container. Worth the money.
