I ordered this despite the other customer reviews. My opinion is it's a really good product with a feel and look of quality. Like all dimmer switches, it can be fiddly to wire up. It doesn't buzz, as has been reported elsewhere - could that have been to do with the bulbs rather than the switch?The only thing to watch out for is it doesn't fit into a slimline backbox in the wall - this dimmer unit needs the deeper one. Not sure, but perhaps the 400W model doesn't? This review is about the 1000W model. So, apart from having to chip away a bit at the brickwork inside and replace the box, all good!

Looks nice but it sounds like it is breaking down already. I am an electrician and have correctly loaded this switch. When on full brightness, the switch hums and crackles -- a sign of electrical breakdown. But I now find that you have only 30 days in with to return it! This is extremely low responsibility for a product you sell. It is faulty and therefore should have at least one year of warranty. I'd avoid and go to a reputable wholesaler who will guarantee their products.

Bought two of these dimmers for two rooms to run 6 x led dimmable GU10 bulbs in each room.Both dimmers have blown within weeks of being installed so only turn on and off.Not the quality I was expecting.

This product looks great, it was easy to fit and turns smoothly.

Didn't work. At all. Checked by an electrician and arrived defective. Avoid.

Dimmed but buzzed. returned.
