Honeywell1361-GT Transformer, 16.5Vac, 40VA, 2.4A

This is for an additional power supply on a Vista 20 P panel. Works GREAT!

Working as I had anticipated, very easy to install...one point to remember: outlet's grounding entrance in the lower profile position.

Fix my problem without spending thousands dollars.

Bought this to replace a previous Honeywell power supply that was shutting down from overheating. Because I was using the supply to power both the Vista 20p and and Eyezon monitoring board with a wireless network transmitter I was concerned I was overloading the previous supply which was rated at 25Va. I went with the 40Va version to provide some additional overhead. The unit showed up when promised and works well. It doesn't get very warm at all compared to the previous one and it's resolved the recurring problems I was having. The only complaint about the unit is that it buzzes like crazy. Very loud. Fortunately it's in a closet so it's not a noticeable noise unless I'm in the closet with it. If it was out in the open I'd be returning the unit because it would be way too noisy 24/7.

Worked perfectly for my home alarm system.

The first one arrived with the plugs bent in, probably due to the bubble pack that Amazone used in lieu of a box. After straightening the plug, went to connect it to the wires and one of the leads just spun, it was broken out of where it was molded into the plastic. Also, just an aside, there are several that looked the same on Amazon but I chose the "name brand" but when I got it, it doesn't say Honeywell anywhere on it. Got the replacement and it's plug was bent too, but not as bad and I straighten them out. I got it installed and it's working, but my advice is to go for the cheaper one, they are probably all the same manufacturer.

Installed this after installing a Safe Hub6 alarm over the old equipment. The previous transformer didn't pump out enough juice to power the previous system, the Safe Hub6 alarm and the backup battery which was constantly running into low battery alerts on the keypad. This transformer has been running solid for a few months now without any issues.

I use this product for my house alarm but found I had to switch the first one sent because it hummed & the replacement doesn’t. Very easy to install

Purchased 2 of these units. First one works. Second one was DOA on arrival. And they are NOT stamped Honeywell but are stamped "RESIDEO". Resideo is a spin off company of Honeywell. They need more quality assurance with these units AND a better return window. Return window of only 30 days is very poor for a UL listed product. Some no name offshore competitors have a one year return window.
