2KG (1.9Kg nett) Large Tin Quality Street Chocolates Sweets BB 08/2024

Only bought as I fancied a metal tin but must say it gave excellent value for money as so much more in it.Now…. It’s March and I haven’t the foggiest why I wanted a metal quality street tin and it’s still in the lounge 😂

I haven't had these sweets in years but was feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted to...I don't know, taste a memory for lack of a better way to put it. Unfortunately they're just not the same at all. As of this purchase, as far as I'm concerned, they no longer make Quality Street. These are something else that's just acquired the branding. It's a shame.Regardless of what they were, what they are is "fine." The chocolate is a bit cheap and waxy but it's not terrible. The fillings are nice but pretty generic. Everything is *very* sweet which I realise is an odd thing to say about sweets, they're supposed to be sweet, but they're just really sweet, it dominates everything else about them. I think I'd be happy enough to scoff them if I'd paid a few quid for them from the supermarket. I'm not sure I think they're worth the price they're asking here though tbh, the only thing making me feel a bit better about it is the tin which is a real tin that I intend to keep and use.

Great to have a full tin of sweets rather than the 1/4 full smaller versions at the supermarket.Not sure about the ‘new’ eco wrappers, makes the product look cheap.

Not much selection green triangle purple and chocolate toffee sticks weren’t much amount at all won’t be buying again must be a mistake can’t see this in every box

Hate the dull wax papersNearly all fudge and caramel, not one coconut and very limited creamsDisappointing selection

This product is not of the quality it should be it’s more toffees than anything else and after speaking to manufacturers this could be a batch which were sold as seconds.
