From Mother Nature to mothers everywhere. We here at Goodsprings believe it is important to know where the products you use come from, especially when dealing with baby products. As such we will describe our selection process. To choose our supplier, we started by contacting 15+ factories in Mainland China that had at least 3 years' experience in making towels & sent them a short list of questions to learn their exact level of experience with this type of product as well as gauge their fluency in English. Those who did not answer the questions at all & simply replied with a pre-written sales pitch were immediately cut. The rest were sorted into 2 groups: those who answered the questions but had poor English were marked as 'Good', & those who answered the questions & had good fluency were marked as 'Great'. We then ordered samples from all those marked as 'Great, a total of 6 suppliers. Once the samples arrived, the next step was testing. First, the towels were washed & then examined by an experienced seamstress to assess how sturdy the construction was. There were 2 towels that stood above the others in this respect, one of which we all agreed felt best. We then gave all the towels to the mother of a toddler to test for a week, without telling her anything we had determined, & asked her opinion of each towel, then the same with the mother of a newborn baby. Both claimed the best towel was the same one we had chosen, making the choice of supplier very simple. NOTE: We understand that most people don't know what all the little symbols on a washing label mean. That is why we printed the washing instructions on the back of the box. We recommend taking a picture of the instructions before recycling the box. The instructions will also be made available on our website.
