Every RV’er Should Have One
After multiple electrical issues with our old camper, we learned that a common cause is power issues/surges at campgrounds. When we bought our new (to us) camper with fully functional electrics we decided to invest in a surge protector right away. This surge protector was fairly priced, with excellent reviews. Shipping/delivery was prompt, with minimal packaging and item in perfect condition. A card for 2 year warranty was included, which we didn’t expect but certainly appreciate. We had no issues plugging in at campgrounds and everything is working as expected.

Good value for safety of mind
I stayed living in my camper full time a year ago and was recommended to get a surge protector. I chose this one because of the added part that tells you if the outlets is wired properly/grounded, and the higher joule rating which for the price bracket, it had one of the highest joule ratings. Since having it, I've gone through many heavy rain and a few really bad storms, 2 of which caused major power outages. I can't say for sure if it protected my camper from any surges because I don't know how to tell that exactly, but my camper had stayed fully functional during and after the bad storms.The clear weather cover is a bonus because the opening for the cord is big enough for my thick power cord but still keeps train from getting in.
