Apple Malus domestica 'Discovery'

UPDATE - after talking direct with YOUGARDEN - brilliant company, extremely helpful. Would not hesitate to purchase from them again.Tree arrived incredibly quickly albeit in a very sorry state. Box had clearly been tipped upside down as the soil was all out of the pot. The lead shoot was snapped and two side branches were cracked and split which will ultimately impair growth and potentially allow disease. It’s a real shame as tree was a really good shape and size and looked healthy aside from its injuries. Amazon wanted me to return it but after me telling them the box was damaged they said just throw it in a bag. I then knew it would be destroyed and I couldn’t face it so I learnt my lesson not to buy trees through Amazon again.

Order this apple tree last week - promptly delivery and was properly packed.Ordered two fruit tree cherries and Apple. Just planted them in my garden - there are two small apples on the apple tree as well. Very happy with the product. Let see how it grows in coming years - will update next year as well with the progress.

The media could not be loaded. Had no apples first years despite flower and lots of aphids keeping spreading diseases, I kept spraying neem oil and soap, this year finally lots of flowers and noelots of apples! Waiting fully grown that I can finally eat them. Aphids did come back but only recently and only top fresh leaves so I just cut off the leaves.

Really well packaged and looks very healthy..brilliant price..looking forward to picking some home grown apples.

Tree arrived healthy - first fruits this year turned out not to be a Discovery - much darker browny red no sign of ripening for many weeks - no idea how big it will eventually grow. Having only room for one apple tree and wanting a bright red early variety this is very disappointing and don't know how to get my money back or replacement.

Love this. Will hopefully have loads of fruit.

Arrived on time. A good looking plant well packaged . When planted the planter commented it was the best and easiest fruit tree he had planted out of others planted that year . Looking forward to fruiting next year .
