Nice humidifier, night light broken after less than 15 uses!

I've actually been quite impressed with this little machine. We use it for traveling; especially when visiting family out west (and almost all hotel rooms are like little arid deserts).I did find out (after having a "pooling" issue) that plain, tap water is best... (the instructions say don't use distilled water).The one thing I don't particularly like is the filter business... I would have preferred to have one without a filter. And there's no guideline as to how long each filter might last.Otherwise, it's a good little humidifier for the money.

You almost don't notice it's on other than a light misting sound. Easy to use. Does what it's supposed to do. Only downfall is I noticed it wouldn't turn on with a USB C cord I already had so you have to use the one in the box.

I have had this product a very short time and it has already stopped working. I have changed the filter already even though it was probably early to do so. The light will come on but it doesn’t work otherwise.

While in use a pool of water collectson top from and around the mist spout. Does not stop therefore causing that top water to spill over and creates a mess.
