I always feel a little guilty when I use my gel polishes, since they aren't the healthiest, so when I saw that this existed, I was really excited!I was hoping it would smell like lemons, but it still has that harsh chemical smell unfortunately. But, if it's good for my nails, I don't mind.The bottle is also really cute. It's a beautiful shade of yellow with a sweet and simple lemon graphic. It easily stands out among my collection, which is super helpful, because my former base coat blends in and takes a while to find. It's also pretty big, which is important for a base coat, since it's going to get a lot of use out of it.Overall, I don't know if it's nurturing my nails as promised, but it puts my mind at ease knowing that it's aiming to. If I notice anything dramatic with time, I'll update, otherwise, it's a great base coat and I highly recommend it!

I love the smell but they didn’t cure ever for me. Everything was tacky and sticky!

This is a nice base coat but it requires curing with a UV or LED lamp/light. It's easy to apply, the liquid is actually pretty thick, but it goes on smoothly. It takes 2 min to cure, my light was small so it took me a long time to get all my fingers, it would be best with a large nail lamp. It doesn't have a strong scent, it has a little hint of lemon or citrus to be more exact, but it's very subtle.It leaves a nice shinny coat, that feels super smooth. I think it's a great base coat but takes a lot of work so I gave it 4 stars due to convenience.It's supposed to come off with soak-off.

This base coat is thicker then most and did not glide on as smoothly as it should. It has a significantly longer cure time as well. I tried this on my toes just to bridge gel polish with no enhancements. On day 2 I had some peeling around the edges of my nails - never had this happen before. The remaining polish seems to be staying in place for now. Overall there are much better base coats out there and I don't see any benefits to this one.

Count me among thos who were disappointed that the base coat polish didn't smell like lemon. :) It actually works really well as a base coat. It goes on really thick, so you'll want to do your best to apply a thin, even coat. It dries slightly tacky and sticky, which makes it really grab onto the colored or clear polish you put on over it. It says that it peels off easily, which made me worry that it would chip and peel while I was doing my daily things with my hands, but thankfully that wasn't the case. It stayed on until I was ready to remove it. I used a gel polish remover that bubbled up the top coats of paint and the base coat did in fact just peel away without hurting my nails.

This base gel works as expected. It is a bit thicker than I like, but it will go on smoothly. The scent is a bit stronger than I prefer, so I don't see myself purchasing this item again.

This base coat did not work with any nail material I have.
