This box is fairly simple to set up and use, it has played flawlessly for me, no buffering, freezing, or the lag u get on cheaper boxes when switching between apps or content. The interface is clean and clear as is any content I have run on it. Its preloaded with Kodi 17.5 (which is inside the KDPLAYER) Netflix, UTube, Goggle Playstore, and a internet browser of your choice, all of these work with your sign in to each and run flawlessly, also Kodi can be upgraded to 17.6 if u choose, and be aware the Kodi on this box supplies no content or build, that it is up to u to download into it. The remote and keyboard are responsive and work well, the keyboard types perfectly, no double types on a single stroke and the mouse is smooth. I have ran this box continuously for hours and it barely gets warm to the touch, the clock also runs flawlessly, after u program your time zone in u can unplug this device overnight (if your worried about the supposed fire hazard connected to these devices) and when reconnected resets to the correct time. The only negative I have found is the user manuals are printed in tiny form that's hard to see. I have had a few other boxes, this one is one of the best I have found for the money. And no I received no compensation from the company or Amazon for this review, just impressed by the product.

This thing has been performing quite well for a few weeks now with only a small thing or two bothering me. One worth mentioning as it is what reduced the star would be that some apps refuse to recognize the device as a smart tv box and rather deliver the mobile phone version. My cousin who lives with me pays monthly for a niche streaming service and this app forces the mobile version of the app and it really looks atrocious. I also have an Sony android smart TV and the same app downloaded from the google play store works as it should in full HD.If someone can present a fix for this I would change my review to 5 star.

The media could not be loaded. I've used a variety of TV boxes over the years including the Roku and Boxee Box along with an assortment of Android TV boxes. This is an Android TV box but with some really nice hardware which really does make a big difference in the performance. Having 3GB of RAM and a quad-core processor make this one snappy little device.If you're unfamiliar with Adroid TV boxes, they basically emulate an Android tablet on your television. You have access to the Google Play Store and can download a variety of apps. I mainly use Kodi, the default video app already installed on this device. (There is a new version of Kodi than the one my device shipped with. If that's the case for yours, uninstall the old version of Kodi and then install the new in the Play Store.) You can also access YouTube, DirecTV and any other video apps that are available for Android.The main advantage of this device over a Roku is that you can EASILY stream music and video off of your home network. I have all my movies and TV ripped to a NAS device and this streams them beautifully.With other Android boxes I'd have the occasional problem with them freezing up where I'd have to power them down and reboot them. So far, after a few weeks of using this device that has not happened as of yet which is a very good thing.Overall, this is an excellent device that will give you easy access to your local media as well as streaming content off the Internet. Highly recommended.

The box works great. My complaint is the remote! It lights up and feels soft and comfy in the hand, but it's not a remote for a media player. It does not have play/pause or fast forward buttons. I purchased this bundle because I needed a new remote, but I'm disappointed. Would be a good remote for surfing or other apps maybe.

It is running Android version 7.1, octa core cpu, 3GB of ram and 32GB of flash storage along with room for expansion using either the micro SD card slot or by a USB port with an attached flash drive/external hard drive.The TV box boots very quickly and you are soon on the android home page. The supplied keyboard remote is very good and gives nice tactile feedback which works perfectly when browsing menus.This box comes clean so it is ideal for setting up your self as the latest built is now out. All shows and movies are available once you have connected the TV Box to your home network via wifi. Video quality is very good and streams very well with no stuttering.

UPDATE 1/9/23: In the past I mostly used this box a couple of hours at a time. Well after Christmas I moved the box to another TV that will be used all day most of the time. This box will freeze after a couple of hours. Likely internal CPU overheat. This box is not suitable for prolonged usage.Although I am satisfied with the box it has some issues I have been unable to resolve. I purchased to play mkv files from a hard drive. The box does this very well, it plays everything I have tried. This works well with the Kodi App., however the video playback at 1080p has slight "framing", barely noticeable but not completely smooth. Also the Kodi app is the only one that seems to have sound. Media Center and Movie Player have no sound, although Dolby Digital is displayed on the TV screen, nothing comes out.

After receiving it, I couldn't wait to install it. When I opened the package, I was very pleasantly surprised. The box was small and exquisite. It was very easy to install. It was very convenient to install according to the instructions. It was shocked by the powerful features of the set-top box. . Really a great machine, beautiful appearance, very authentic material. The thermal design is very good. It has been used for a very long time and it is very warm and clear. The favorite is the one-click TV of the remote control. It's great! You can watch high-definition programs and all kinds of movies. The video is very clear and very satisfying.

I received the product on time and in good condition. And at first the unit worked great however in a few days I was running into problems. The unit would not turn on via the remote, and I had to remove the power plug and insert a couple times to get the unit to boot. This is when I discovered the second issue. The design of the unit seems to not allow enough space for the HDMI plug and power connector to occupy their intended slots without impacting on each other. Causing undue sideways force on the power connector.This design fault in my opinion may cause future issues with the unit a few extra millimeters would have been sufficient.Once I got the unit started the remote worked as intended, and the software provided worked great. I cannot fault the unit in this regard It start all my media quickly and played all my media as advertised.If the manufacturers overcome what I see as an engineering and design flaw. And possibly a quality control issue. I would have no issue with given this device a higher recommendation. I have initiated a return of the item due to these inefficiencies.
