Book required for course
Very great book, I was required to get the book for a course working upon my teaching certificate. It arrived in well conditions and upon reading it I learned to much. Even though it was a required book I do recommend for students teachers or teacher already in the field working with EL students to read it.

You don't have to be a SIOP teacher to use this
This book can be used by any teacher looking for some tested intovative ideas to use in the classroom. The ideas are general. One of my favorites is using songs to help students remember what has been taught. You can also have your students write on a post-it-note what they have learned then everyone can go up and read it. Parallel lines gives students an opportunity to share information with each other, just to name a few. This book gets everyone in the class involved.

Full of activities you can you immediately in any classroom.
Great go-to book for teachers of all levels and subjects. This book accompanies other SIOP books with activities and strategies based on the SIOP method. I would consider this an sessional book of teaching and RTI strategies for any teacher.

Lots of good ideas
I bought this book to go with a 5-day, 45-clock-hour SEI course. We've actually done some of the activities in class and the majority require planning, but not too much prep time. The book is well-written and organized in a logical fashion. A good resource for teachers who deal with a lot of ELL students (like here in central AZ.)

Teaching ESL
This book is a great tool! It gives you many ideas and lessons to teach ESL or students in special education. I'm working on my Master's degree for special education and my professor strongly recommended this book. Also I'm teaching students with autism and a basic reading elective. 99 ideas has been useful for my students.

Overflowing With Ideas
This book is overflowing with ideas. I bought this book to help me complete my ESOL certification. I will use it for reference and lesson planning for many years to come.

Good, but very repetitive
Good, but very repetitive. Wouldn't really go so far as to say there were 99 unique ideas and activities; more like a handful that were modified in a few different ways. Overall organization of the book can be a little hard to follow at times.
