12 Pieces Stainless Steel Cannoli Form Tubes 5 Inches, Diagonal Shaped

I want to put out a disclaimer that I'm no expert in italian food, but as a beginner to other beginners, my cannoli with these turned out really well! This was my first time ever making it.I soaked the molds in soapy water for a while when they arrived, then got to work. I took off one star because the edges are extremely sharp(!) and I accidentally gave myself a few little cuts that are still healing. While this could have been avoided by me being a little bit more careful, it would be nice to not have to treat the cannoli molds like the sharp edge of a knife.Most of the shells came out ok. 2-3 of them fell off in the oil, but that probably would have happened with any other mold as it was my first time making cannoli. I used a little bit of an egg wash to press the ends of the dough together around the mold to help it stick.The ability to squeeze the metal together to remove them from the cannoli is awesome and makes the shells easy to be removed, but it makes the molds a little harder to clean at the point where the metal joins together.All in all, great product, would recommend, just be careful and don't hurt yourself like I did!

Yeah, I could make a canoli but have you ever tried to make just a friend rolled taco shell? This is the way to go. You make the shells and then stuff them with your own fixings.

First, they work as described - the shape does indeed help them not roll away. And I found a bonus in that your dough isn't going to cover the ends as a result of the shape, and makes removal easy.However, the metal is thin. During cleaning in particular, it makes it easy to cut yourself on the ends due to the thin edges.Overall: These work. I'm not going to go out of my way to replace them, but the thin metal is a pain point (pun ... kind of intended?) and extra care is required during cleaning.

When you are doing keto, it is great to find things that make eating a bit more interested, since there are no treats, lol These made great bacon treats!

Worked pretty good, except the tubes are not solid cylinders, they are wrapped metal and the cannoli dough tends to get stuck a little at the end of the wrapped tube, making it it little challenging to get the cannoli off the tube. All in all they worked well otherwise.

The awesome part of these molds is that they're not solid pieces; so once you fry the cannolis and they harden on the mold, the only way they can come off is if you squeeze the mold, allowing the shell to separate from the mold. Would definitely buy again, my cannoli turned out incredible!

My wife loves them, but watch out for sharp edges as she cut her finger on one.
