Work well and are good strong springs

These should be a must have in any camper. It's always the spring that gets lost and needs to be replaced and this is an excellent package to have with you. The tool makes it super easy to install another spring and I love that it comes with 6 extra springs in the pack.Great price point for the quality of the product.

The springs on the bug guard on my RV water heater were getting loose, so I wanted to get some new ones, so I thought I’d try these, especially since it came with an install tool.There’s not much good or bad to say about these springs. They are a good match for the original ones that came with the guard, but the tool that comes with them was not useful at all. The slot in the end was not wide enough to allow the spring to slip into the notch. I had to take a small slotted screwdriver and force the notch in the end of the tool to be wider so the spring could fit. Not a big deal, but certainly you would hope that the tool supplied with the springs would actually fit - it did not.I managed to fit the new springs and the guard is not secure. I can only give them three stars because the supplied tool did not fit as supplied.

The slit in the tool was not formed properly so we had to pry it open a bit for the spring to fit. Once we did that it worked like a charm. I like that it comes with several extra springs. Very handy!
